its not going to effect the turbo at all. if anything, itll give you a couple hp.

yeah it will. it wont be anything drastic at all. its a good mod, and fairly priced also.

by effecting something, what do you mean?

since the rpms climb faster wouldnt that mean quicker to spool up time?

maybe in neutral... maybe.

in gear, though, that's a common misconception. if it really made your RPMs climb faster in gear by a noticeable amount, that means you'd be accelerating a good amount faster. seeing as how these pulley mods are often overhyped and may add 2-3hp at the most, it's just not gonna happen. not saying it's a bad mod; just don't put it on and expect your car to rev like a bike.

as for the turbo, the two are completely unrelated. it will not affect the turbo at all.

dont run pullies, it'll just increase the harmonic load on the crackshaft. I've done tons of research on this, i decided not to run them.

well seeing the crankshaft held up to over 700whp with kenny trans tc im pretty sure a pulley wont do it in?

Throwing off the balance of a crankshaft is not good - and the more hp and rpm you run the worse.

Just imagine a non-perfect circle rolling on the ground.. the faster it goes, the more erratic the motion is.

There's been tons of cases where people damage their motors by changing their crank pullies or removing stock harmonic balancers. I'm not sure how it applies to our specific motor, but I'd rather stay away than pick up that 2-3hp and possible engine damage.

a lightweight crank pulley should be okay, its still balanced but with less rotational mass. underdrive pulleys are where you'll run into problems (correct me if im wrong this is from what i've learned)

The only problem iv experienced is the ac doesnt work as well under low speeds or at idle, the alternator also doesn't seem to work as well. However my exp. was with my 97 nissan altima with an unorthodox racing under-drive pulley.

It will not ill effect your crankshaft. When those pulleys are turned on a lathe they come out true and balanced.

As for gains...maybe 5-6HP, but you will not even feel the benefit after your turbo upgrade. If you want a new shiny part I would go for it

Yes, there is about 2% of people out there with problems, but I honestly think that has to do with the install. I bet if they just torqued it down to the mfg's specs they will have no problems. There is a MEGA thread about pulleys and the majority of people love them and have no side effects.

Go with the AP one.
