A/C Rattling/Vibration
I'm not sure if this is just my car, but whenever my A/C is on there is a rattle/vibration near the passanger glove compartment. Anyone else have this problem? It's very annoying.
one of the causes of rattle when the ac is on is the heat shield underneath the car where the spipe meets the mid pipe... might want to check that if you havent already. found that mine was a bit bent and rattled against the frame.. after bending it back to where it should have been, noise went away
my car definately viberates when the ac is on. it seems like it only does it when the car idles. don't know what it means but I suspect that it may be normal since the engine is under greater load ESP when the ac is cranked all he way up.

because I recently took mine off and painted it. So maybe I bent it when trying to get it off.

no, theres another one thats located under the car...
your engine connects to your header which connects to your spipe, which connects to your mid pipe. it would be located right above where the spipe and midpipe meet. though you might want to make sure that since you did remove the heatshield from the header, the bolts are tight and not tapping anything

hmm...
if you follow the header down into the engine bay, it connects to another pipe... that pipe is the spipe. youd probably have to get under the car to see the rest, but that pipe, the spipe, then continues and connects to another pipe, the mid pipe. that connection is located right after the motor, in the middle of you car. it just looks like a piece of shinny metal.

Anyone elses have any other suggestions or ideas about why my the inside of my car rattles when the a/c is on?
cool... keep us posted... might be a recall they dont want to make. figure they save money with the few people that actually complain about the noise rather than just call em back and change em...
has anyone checked the compressor mounted to the engine? that the bolts are tight? check all the mounting hardware.
plus another thing that can vibrate is the drivebelt tensioner. The minute you turn on the a/c it stresses that drivebelt, and changes it's tension. If the tensioner isn't keeping tension then it could make noise.
check both of those things.
