Default tire size question.

im going to be getting new tires for my stock wheels. will i be able to fit 225s' on them? also i was wondering what would be some good tire choices? i want a good sticky tire but also one that isnt terrible in rain. im looking to spend no more than 125 a tire. thanks in advance for any hlep, i appreciate it.

ps i searched an have found threads saying that 225s will fit and then other threads saying they wont

Depends on what you mean by "fit". From a technical perspective, 225/45 is just a bit too wide for a 7" wheel. However, they will fit, and many people seem to prefer them over the stock 215, which is perfect on a 7" wheel. The trade-offs are small, so I'm sure you'd be fine with either width you choose, get whichever you want.

Sticky tire that still works good in the wet at under $125 each?
I recommend the BFG g-Force Sport
Read the reviews and compare the cost & ratings to other tires you're considering, and you'll see they're an excellent choice.

You may want to also look at Falken FK452, Sumitomo HTRZIII and Toyo T1-R ($127 though).

toyo tires are awesome

either the toyo proxes 4 or toyo proxes t1r are a good choice.
