the trd shocks will work just fine. Nothing but a perfect ride. :D

any upgrade over stock and tein s-techs will be good. there are better springs out there then the tein's

OK ikonXone I'll bite... What's better than Tein,s??? And most importantly, WHY?

It seems in all the posts that everyone is happy with their Tein's.

I haven't slowed down enough lately to order me a set of springs. But from what everyone says about them that is the brand that I thought I should get. They are next on the list after putting the interior back in since gutting it to spray in Second Skin.

I was about to post something like this......

Anyways, so do you think the TRD shocks and TEIN H-TECH springs would be a great deal? Or even the S-TECH's?

Reason because my girl has a TC and she prefers the brand TEIN and I know after a while the OEM shocks go doo doo after time(with aftermarket springs).

So does TRD shocks and TEIN S or H-TECh would be a good deal?

What are your opinions?

TRD's will go "doo doo" only slightly later than stock but the ride will be much better.

If so, what shocks would be best in this case?

but tein s.tech's don't really have that much of a drop.. about 1.5? it's about .5 in more than the trd springs..

well depends on what car s techs on a tc is like 2.somethin . but yeah not much of a drop on a box or xa like 1.8 front and 1.6 rear on a box so figure .2 less on an xa. and i thot about sayin coilovers awhile ago but didnt think they were lookin for soo much bank. if u want a good drop on a x model then get df210's and or goldlines but i like the way df's ride plus they have a lower drop. or if yer cheap and or broke check out the megan racing springs a listed 2.0 inch drop but is said to drop lower and theyre cheap!

coilovers are best if money is willing to be spent..ive ran tein stechs on my corolla (2.4/2.3 drop) on stock struts and it still rode good for over a year and still going...good thing for me this island is so small, it take a long time for me to rack up miles so things would last longer than folks on the mainland. cant wait to get those stechs on my tC

hotbox05

alot less than 2.4 and 1.9 lol . s techs arent low enough for an xb imo. more like df210's with a 2.2 front and 2.0 rear.
