Ive had my car for about a year and a half now (brand new 07 at the time) and was wondering is there a need to use fuel system cleaners?
if you have a warranty i would look at doing it at the end of it
the stuff really not need unless you go leave you car sit for 2 weeks with the same tank of gas + some dealership do it under the oil changes/tune ups for you

.. if you read the label, the cleaners say you have to use every oil change... which means use it every 3-5k miles.
our cars are too new to waste money on those cleaners. but if you do wanna clean your fuel system try Seafoam, its 100% petroleum which i think is the main detergent for cleaning. other brands got some other mix with Mileage boost.
a friend of mine claims Chevrons Techron cleaners is good, he did a project at his school testing all types fuels

I 2nd the seafoam recommendation. I've always used it in my cars and love it. Pour it down the throttle body, let it stall the car out and soak in. Then start the car and watch the free show.
