If you want ALL the specs, get the part number off the turbo, and look it up. The turbo HAS to have a badge with its part number and some other info on it.

That's how I found out what my friend was running in his Evo, lol.

Nope, i disagree paul.. and dont get me wrong im not bashing or anything, just expressing myself.
They way you answered you said probably its 50 trim.. I didnt feel like you were too sure of that and when i asked if i can give you serial number to make sure, you just ignored me ...
So thats why i created this thread to see if anybody had any ideas.

Hey whats up man.. Hows the car running , hows the tune still holding up ?

How do you think 48AR will differ from your 50AR numberwise ?

You're talking about two different things here.

The .50 AR is his compressor housing - the .48 AR is his exhaust housing.

^^^ 50 trim you mean ?
thats actually me.. i have 48AR and as stated by paul "probably" 50 trim .

Enjoithis stated he has 50AR and 50 trim.. so i'm basically curious which way would my smaller (48 instaed of 50) exhaust housing affects the numbers.

There are NO .50 AR housings for exhaust side with a standard T3 flange.

He was referring to his COMPRESSOR housing's AR.

T04 turbos can come in .50 AR or .60 AR. Not many but some can even come in .70.

Exhaust side housing AR for T3 hot-sides are .48, .63, and .82.

We could get crazy and have you measure the wheels.

ie measure the inducer and exducer

Then we would know exactly what you have.

But if you have a .48 ar housing on a T3/T4 its a 50 trim, you can go that small on a larger trim (diffent stage wheel etc, etc) but those are usually spec'd turbos and are ordered that way for a reason. Out of the box .48 turbine housings 90% of the time you can bet its a 50 trim.

Now what stage wheel do you have??? 3 or 5 (it could be different again) but its most likely one or the other.

There is allot to this as you can see.....just cause you guys pay attention to trim and ar doesnt mean thats all there is.

Regards-

Todd

There is no serial number or part number because we use parts from several vendors including ITS, Borg Warner and Garrett to make our units. So, it is not that easy. These are straight Frankenstein units.

Chances are you received a 50 trim, E cover with a .48 A/R. Simple as that. Not much more you need to know.
