JUST WOW!
Just changed the OEM shocks for the Monroe Sensa-Trak 5987 shock, and added a Progress Rear Sway Bar (RSB) this afternoon.

WOW!
The Monroe 5987 shocks make the xB much more comfortable going over bumps and the average road surface. :)

WOW! WOW! WOW!
The Progress RSB keeps the back from indicateing its desire to to a full aircraft roll on the curves (e.g. exit ramps from the Interstate), and lets me know that I AM riding on RADIAL tires and not Bias Ply. :D

- I had no idea radial tires could be so effective! :clap:

If you do nothing else to your Gen 1 xB, DO THESE TWO THINGS!
(PS. Both are VERY EASY to do by yourself.)

NEXT:
New McPherson Struts up front, and a GREDDY Strut Tower Brace.
- I "might as well" do the strut brace while I am changing out the OEM Struts with the Monroe 72245. :D

I did the same thing with the rear shocks and added that Progress Rear Sway bar myself. Easy mods to do and worthwhile.
I went with the DC strut tower bar up front.
Are you going to install the energy supression (suspention) front sway bar end links? That $20 mod is a must for that beefy front sway bar with the wimpy OEM end links. See the differance below:

Just took the car over to McD's this morning for Breakfast.
To get there, I take a road that becomes three lanes in going my way.
Then, the right lane veers off to the right and the other two make a HARD curve to the LEFT as two other lanes join the road on the right.
Normally, with the car in either of those two left lanes, there is a tendency of a forced drift into the adjacent lane the right. This makes for some quite interesting encounters with other inept drivers.

NOW, my car stays PLANTED in the the lane I'm in as I curve left. :clap: :clap: :clap:

only good those tires are good for is burn out contests cause they smoke alot from what i've heard

The Before and After contrast was like changing from Bias Ply to Radial tires. 8)

Cool. How hard was it to put on the swaybar? Any clearance issues with it?

the rsb is easy at most a 20 minute job

2 holes are already there and 2 more need to be drilled then it's just bolt it on and go.

The newer bars don't need drilling so it's super easy that 20min estimate isn't even rushing it!
Tip on installing the bar... run a couple long zip-tys (or a few short ones coupled together) around the rear beam and sway bar to keep it in place while you line everything up!

Where do I get these shocks for my 06 xB? The ride is very unsmooth!
