widened steelies
I'm thinking of getting my stock XB steelies widened for 85 bucks each wheel... but I was hoping to find people in the forum that are from SoCal and are selling widened steelies... do you guys know anybody wanting to get rid of widened steelies? Thanks
it's just a look that I want. I mean one could say, hey your avatar is stupid or ugly but you seem to like it so it's probably beautiful to you... I think people value things differently since they see things differently. Heck many people probably think Xbs are ugly and someone even told me that the rear end of the Tc makes the car look cheap... but hey, we think theyre both awesome cars...
Try the socal forums at vwvortex and socal euro. I've never seen widen steelies on anything but VW's. 4 lug VW's (watercooled) are 4x100, so they'll fit your xB.

I supposed a tC owner could widen the 16" steelies off a spec tC, but about larger? I think some 5x100 VW's (new Beetle?) were available with 17" steelies. Did any WRX's come with 17" steelies?
These are 5x100 16s or 17s

did some research,
Stockton wheel, (http://www.stocktonwheel.com/wheel_widening.htm) says they can make a 16" into a 16x10.
I know i could fit a 16x10 in there, my only question would be the perfect offset?
They would deff be a stretch-poke fitment with the right offset and tire (I believe a 225/50/16 would work)
What offset guys? front and rear
