I just checked it out, it's basically like if you were to get the ground designs set which is just the sleeve and spring. I think a few people have the ground designs one, but as far as the m2 goes, I haven't seen any reviews of it yet.

Why not just get a set of springs or real coilover's?

i do have springs (htechs)....i just wanna try these out. I could probably afford better coilovers, but 1. id like the spend the money on other things and 2. id like experiment new things. I dont mind a harsher ride, as other more expensive coilovers are harsh also. I just want to see if it does its job at a cheap price.

i was able to get a hold of these coilovers for free and these things suck. one, in order to fit the front sleeves.. you're gonna have to do some modifications, where in the end, it will leave the spring kind of loose within the shock body. and for the rear, it's barely adjustable.. you'll know what i mean if you decide to get these.. but if you wanna be saved, spend your money on something else. ride quality is horrible, unless you like rollin bumpy.

hey dont you have to do modifications for all sleeve type coilovers? like add o-rings to the shock body and slide the sleeve coilover over the shock to make it tight. and what do you mean for the rear is " barely adjustable" ? do you mean the height of the rear?

save your money and dont waste your time on these. get a nice set of coilovers if you want adjustments. and if you get the right set you wont have a harsh ride

These aren't real "coilovers" ... it's a coilover conversion kit. Just to give you some ride height adjustment... but don't expect any better performance out of them.

i guess i only want them for the adjustment. I dont really care about the ride quality as Im the only one riding in the car and all I do is go to school/work and back home. I want to go low here in seattle but after 1 year I might be shipping my car back to Hawaii, but shipping requires me to have at least 5 inches of clearance. So Id like the raise it back up for shipping.

If you JUST want them for the adjustability... they might be the cheapest way to go. But then again, they might be the cheapest way to go. :)

not necessarily i have seen judges get down to look at suspension mods and if they stock struts with these "coilovers" they will mark points off because of them. just like different coilover set ups get more points
