By far the worst car show I have ever been too. very unorganized, judging was very half assed giving lmost all the trophies to very few cars for the sake of not having to do more math I suppose, they ran out of food very quickly ... entertainment consisted of a car playing the fast and the furious ... show went from 5 until 11 at night and there were only 40 cars .... Honestly have not seen soo many ____ed off people leaving a car show in my life several big show winning cars there like NOPI and BOTI 1st and best of cars leaving empty handed empty stomached and with a very very very bad taste in their mouths ..... I wouldn't waste the gas or any of my time going to any show that says IRA on it ever again I almost wish I didn't have to waste any of my time telling you about this horrible show but I feel I must save the rest of you from having to waste your time and money pass on this one and use the 10 bucks to go see a movie you will have more fun and get alot more out of it

i was there without my car and i still had a good time as it seemed did many others. i know some people left early. i think some of them had plans to go to another show or had things to do today. i know a group that showed up later only stopped in to check out what was going on. i'm not a huge fan of ira. at the same time if you go to a show you should be going to have fun and make the best of it.

aftershock i disagree with you. in fact i think its an unfair representation of the dealership and the show series by leaving your comment there with no response. the show was a good time just like any other show, and it was the first one of the ira show series so maybe it was a bit unorganized, but not nearly to the extent that youre saying. they did a good job with the show, the t shirts they gave to us and the food was cool, the weather turned out to be great and everyone was talkin to eachother and having fun.

cant wait til the next one, that comment makes me not want to go to the aftershock shows anymore, which is sad cuz i met an aftershock member (mustang i believe) who was really cool and convinced me to show up at your show

Everyone is welcome to their own opinion, I was just posting the opinions echod by alot of people at the show, I mean they didnt even have a toyota class at a toyota dealership but yet they had a nissan and mustibishi and honda class. People are free to go to whatever shows they want I wasn't pulling any shows out specifically for comparissons because I don't think you want to start that.... But when several BOTI and NOPI class winning cars walk away with nothing poses some questions.... but I think alot of people can agree 6 hours is a long time for a show with 40 cars

i heard there was some bad parts in terms of judging in your own show too from a few people so i mean hey not every show will be perfect in terms of that.

props to IRA, link marketing, and to everyone that went

The only complain I heard about judging was that some people thought most of the cars that won had turbos and or superchargers etc which alot did and alot didnt and also that the rainy weather wasn't really allowing everyone a 5-10minute esque speech about their car or to have everything open etc in the time it took to judge over 100 cars

But you have an opinion I have an opinion and neither of us are going to sway the other so my appologies if I jacked this thread and we can both end the back and forth on here and leave it as a post giving dates about the show

I had a good time, yeah the show did run late and it was a tad unorganized but it's the first in the series. The only thing that really bothered me was the GM asking us to take the sign down that was lame. I had no problem getting food, not bad for 10dollars. The judge even gave quick advice on what not to bring with you to a car show.
