So i noticed the other day that my beautiful box has a RUST SPOT :cry: right above the winshield. I LOVE NY! I am not sure what the rules are about the corrosion warranty does anyone know? does anyone else have this problem?

they have a 5 year corrosion warranty

If it is from a stone chip it is yours.

It's a "rust thru" policy. Basically none.

That's only if you can prove that there was a defect in manufacturing that caused the rust. Pretty much anything on the front of the vehicle, they're gonna say "stone chip, not our problem."

The paint MUST be bubbled, for it to be covered under the corrosion warranty.

Another thing,You say it is around the windshield have you had the glass replaced?The installer may have gouged the paint removing the old glass.

The best fix would be to spot sand and repaint the spot and then keep an eye on it.

The paint MUST be bubbled, for it to be covered under the corrosion warranty.
With no sign of exposed metal on the outside, I presume.

^^^Exactly! No metal exposed but the paint literally bubbling. This is covered.
