I am looking into buying new wheels. I really like the solid black look with no chrome rims or anything. If I buy a new set of wheels with the 17x7 set up, would I need new tires or would the stock rubber fit? I've only got about 3200 miles on the car. Thanks.

 

Should be no problem as long as you don't go too wide of a rim. Unless of course, you like the "stretched" look?

 

If you're going from the OEM wheels/tires to a 17x7, you'll be fine. That's the same size as the OEM wheel. You'll have no tire issues at all.

 

as longs as the measurements match you should be good to go, do not be surprised when they charge you to mount them (i had a place deny me the service because it wasnt their rim) as soon as u get it done post up some pics.

I've tried lookin on tire rack and wheels next, any other suggestion for sites?

Also, is there a "good" or "bad" rim? What's the difference?

 

you'll be fine with anything from 17x7-17x8

I ordered a set of 17x7.5 for mine, will be using the stock tires too...

damn back order though, wheels still arent here.
