Default bad month for the car....help me get this wheel lock off

So the past 60 days have seen multiple scratches and bumper scrapes on my baby....damn work parking lot....and today during the middle of my tire rotation, I discovered a big fat philips screw in one of my tires. Blah.

Getting to the point.....my Scion-branded wheel lock key refuses to budge one of my wheel locks (key keeps slipping off) - it was the 4th one, so I may have worn down the key, or perhaps the "teeth" on the lock itself is worn. Regardless, this is preventing me from rotating my passenger-side tires. Anyone have any tips on how I can get the damn thing off?

if it is the last bolt on the wheel put the others back 75lb on and try take the lock one off first ,, if that still not working get the paper from the wheel kit and order a new key.

Get a socket that just barely doesn't fit over the lock and smash it on with a hammer. Thats what I usually do for everything (ATV's, cars, etc) that the lug is stuck on and stripped.

Just today I was taking a rusted bolt off and it completely rounded off. Got a smaller socket and forced it on. Cake

I don't steal other peoples wheels but i've had to "steal" a couple of wheels off my own cars already, lol. It sure is the way thieves do it though. Most lugs are like butter soft when getting a hardened socket pounded onto them with a 3lb hammer. :D

Did you give it a shot yet? I'll vouch for the hammer & socket method too. It's kind of a hack, but as everyone here knows you've gotta do what you've gotta do.

Doing CVs on a CRX one time we had 2 studs on 2 different wheels that stripped where they press it. Trying to get a torch in there to do the cutting was a _____. Got it done though.
