No seat covers here, did a leather option thru the dealer. Door panels have leather on them also.

I only assumed its a cover since the passenger seat puckers like the covers Classio makes for the other Scion models. So your seats are actually done through the Scion dealer, not stock? They might be Classio covers afterall then.

Nope, they came from Classic Soft Trim, was set up by the dealership.

One came into our local dealership. I managed to get down there to take a look at it before someone grabbed it. It actually showed up without an owner. Lasted about 2 hours and was gone.

I have to make sure they don't do that to mine. Even if I call and say "DON'T YOU DARE DRILL INTO THE BUMPER!!!" you think they'll do it if I don't get there right when the car drops off the truck??? same goes for the decal.

So...another week has gone by and I still don't have my xD RS1.0 :cry: They tell me that it is stuck on a train somewhere. Apparently there were tracks underwater and trains got stuck in places and it will be awhile before all the trains can get through. I asked my sales guy if he was willing to go drive to the train!

^I know, the dealership where I got mine has 2 more on the way, they came into port at the same time as mine and were due at the dealership on the 9th of July, they are still waiting for them.

The only good thing is that the dealership keeps calling me and have already started offering things to me so I am going to stick with them. The wait is torture though!

Ok, I've seen a couple threads that had comments on decals & drilling the bumper to mount license plate. A couple questions:

1. what decal?

2. where are they supposed to put the license plate if not on the bumper. Why not drill?

Need to know these things so I know what to tell them when I order one. :bow:

some states have a law that saids you have to have a front and rear plate. I agree is sucks on certain cars and stuff but they have no choice. The decal that they are talking about is the one that has the dealer name and location. I have them on both of my rs 3.0 tc's and i'm going to have them removed soon.

I live in Washington state and it also requires front plates. My problem with it is I can come up (and others have) with a better way to hang my front plate than drilling into the plastic bumper. For starters, one of the screws already stripped out so I had to go to a bigger screw (dealer lot guy with a battery powered drill). It wont cause any long term damage, it just that they drill holes in your car! Maybe I'm being to anal about it, but it just bugs me.

Just picked it up with 4 miles on the car and 12 when I left the dealership.

Has anyone tried to mod the front toe hook bolt to hold the plate? It's a threaded nut behind the knockout plate on the DAMD front facia.

I just picked up mine (last Sat) at Beaverton Scion.

Since I have a temp permit in the window I'm going to fab my own front Lic. plate setup. Going to take a suggestion from the Mini Cooper community and use the front toe bar mount and make my own holder.

I dont think thet are the tC enkies but they do look good on the d. They are 17" with Pirellie P Zero's.Yep the dealer called and said it would be there so i went up there and got it right off the trailer.

Those are the 17's off the 2003-2008 corolla and matrix. I had a corolla S and that is the ones I had only silver painted. They look good on the new xD.

I am still waiting for mine...updated delivery date of 7/24-7/30.

I think mine for the corolla was just over $1700 and that included 4 nitto 455 extreme performance tires as well. I could have got a set cheaper but me and the wife liked those so that is what we went with.

That mini thing is a cool solution for the front lic plate. I might look into that.

If I can't find anything drill-less, I can always drill it myself. After all, you said there are dimples there anyway lol

I would be leary of you dealer sounds like they might be jerking your chain. When I ordered mine they looked it up in the computer and knew it was on the boat and about what day it was landing in the port. They may just be stringing you along in hopes that they get one.

Not trying to stir up trouble but it is just a thought. I started looking early for mine and most of the dealers I talked to could tell me when they were getting one in and could print an invoice with what was on the car.

The TRD 18" wheels are a $2,000 upgrade.

Alt choices TRD muffler, Sway bar, Carbon fiber door post covers.

oh I decided to just let them drill. it didn't really bother me.

in the future,I want to add some alloy wheels and possibly some tint. That would be it for me. The performance is better than my honda accord and gets better mileage, so I'm very happy with it.

Oooo you cracked the headlights open! How hard was it and what did you have to do to get them out? I think you have to take off the bumper but I'm not sure.

You will have to remove some of the plastic rivets and pull the fender down a little to get to the third headlight screw.

I baked the headlight at 200 deg for 10 min.

Hey all, not trying to bash anyone's RS1 whatsoever here, but... I finally saw my first RS1 at the dealer where I bought my Nautical Blue xD, while I had it in for the 5000 mile maintenance... nice car, but in person, I was kinda disappointed with the actual color - after seeing at all the photos online, I thought the Hot Lava was going to be quite a bit brighter and more towards a Reddish-Orange, but the color is more of a standard burnt orange seen in a lot of other cars, and a bit "duller" looking than I was expecting.

Don't get me wrong, it's still really nice looking, I was just expecting more "vividness" to the color, perhaps... Is it just me that thinks that way, or anyone else think it should have been brightened up a bit to make it even more of a "unique" color?? Maybe if the car I was looking at had a good coat of wax on it, it would have looked brighter, but... :ponder:

I'm only bringing this up because I was kinda bummed that they came out with the RS1 just a few months after I picked up my fairly bland, boring blue xD, and I was thinking I should have held-out for an RS1, but after seeing the actual color in person, I'm not regretting it nearly as much... but, the body kit and interior mods are really nice, though - I like the orange thread in the seats and the painted dash.

No new pics yet. Was busy doing an intake mod. Now that was time worth spent. Sounds great with the TRD exhaust and throttle response is much improved as well as a little more pull at take off. Now that I proved the concept with $30, maybe it's worth spending the money for the Fujita.

Well I sold YELOSUB back in March and bought a 2006 Mustang GT...While the Mustang was fun and all, I missed my Scion so I sold the Mustang and went out and bought my RS1 xD #847 this last Saturday...I love it! I've always loved the Hot Lava color ever since the RS1 xB...I will post pics when I'm not so damn busy...Tint is coming soon and so are rims, going with 17's...Congrats to everyone, these are truly one bada$$ little ride...

Well I finally got around to taking pics...So far we pulled the black vinyl from the pillars and I had the windows tinted the other day, thanks to KEITH from ScionApocalypse.com...I also got a set of RS1 18" Enkei rims from Bob (RMS) of ScionApocalypse.com waiting to be installed...Eric of ScionApocalypse.com helped with a hookup for the tires, 225/40/18's, which were ordered and I will have them put on Tuesday...Here are the pics so far...

oh I decided to just let them drill. it didn't really bother me.

in the future,I want to add some alloy wheels and possibly some tint. That would be it for me. The performance is better than my honda accord and gets better mileage, so I'm very happy with it.

The car feels more solid, doors close with a thunk, not a tin can like in the xB...Less road noise, more power and drives better IMO...My old xB was loud when driving, especially at freeway speeds...The xD is a smooth riding car, even with my 18's...Couldn't say that with my xB and the xB was only running 17's with a 45 series sidewall...I'm sure there is more...

You have to upload them through photobucket.com or imageshack.com...I use photobucket.com because it's easy...Once you register on photobucket, upload picture from your computer (MY PICTURES) or where ever you store them...Copy and paste the link from photobucket to the thread your posting in...It might take you awhile to figure it out but you will get it...

I love this car, can't believe nobody has bought it off you! Just noticed you had two kinds of hubs, lol.

No I didn't sell it in AZ, so I drove it to Alaska, and I got a bunch of pics along the way, to bad the car has the ugly stock wheels on it for all the neat pictures on the way up... But Yeah I'm not really all that interested in selling it now that it's up here, but if someone was interested I would sell it. Then I would by a manual transmission, should have gone with a 5 speed to begin with but its what was available so I got it... uhwell.

yep. it spun 180 degrees. as you can see, no damage done to the rear door. it was at an odd intersection near KCI airport. going to a carwash then... not so much.

Nice ride. A friend here has the same edition. he also removed the black between the windows. I love the color. it's not fair your interior comes with color trim and the XA was silver and we had to paint the trim that color. Well, similar. What's gonna be the first major mod?? Other than your wheels. i couldn't modify a special edition myself. I wouldn't have the heart. We have changed the XA so much it would be sacrilidge to do that to a Release edition. Nice lower grill treatment. That's not factory is it?? I just did something similar to a friends Hot Lava. We took the vinyl all the way up thru the upper grill. Reminiscent of the Audi. it turned out so nice he now wants me to paint it to make it permanent. Nice ride!!! Wheels n all.

Hard to say what happened...Looked weird at first without the front kit on...Maybe the original owner sold them to make some cash?

I don't know, if that cheap one doesn't get sold this Saturday, I'll probably go check it out.
