Cost about 175. One of the best HIDs out their!! :) ExpresScion 07-16-2008, 02:15 AM I would only trust (and I have) MobileHID. Their kits come with a fuse and a relay. I've had mine for close to a year and it has been perfect. operatic 07-16-2008, 03:09 AM Don't forget about 3B Spec's HID kits :) justin6969 07-16-2008, 06:47 PM what about the one kit thats 140 with the scionlife code from the advertisments on scion life? HomelessGuy 07-16-2008, 06:50 PM i bought a kit off ebay, and a mobileHID relay to go with it, saved about 30 bucks, but it works great :) txkneeboarder 07-16-2008, 08:09 PM i want to get the mobile hid kit, but i wan to know first if there is any wire cutting or anything that i have to break out a wiring diagram for. and how long does it take to install? HomelessGuy 07-16-2008, 09:00 PM i want to get the mobile hid kit, but i wan to know first if there is any wire cutting or anything that i have to break out a wiring diagram for. and how long does it take to install? i didnt use the mobileHID kit, but i would assume that it would be easier than the kit i got to install. the kit i got took me about 30 minutes to install, no cutting, no wiring diagram, you basically just have to plug some things in, supply power from the battery, and find a good mounting location for the ballasts. im pretty sure theres a DIY on here that will give you a better explanation on what to do, but its pretty easy. dwmtl1000s 07-16-2008, 09:23 PM I installed this http://shop.3bspecialties.com/product.sc?categoryId=18&productId=33 and love it! It was easy to do and I only made one mistake and that was that I put on the plugs to the ballests backwards. I then got ____ed since it didn't work and called mike at the number on the top right of the web page above. he answered and walked me through it and I was thrilled that he was so willing to help and the kit had nothing but high quality parts. The hard part of this kit and I am sure all the others is getting the ballests mounted perfectly. I like my stuff to be perfect so getting the ballests perfect took a bit but other than that it was real easy. You do not need to splice anything at all. You only need to couple the factory headlights to the harness (with the plugs) and the harness to the postive side of the battery, headlights, and a ground. Thats it, pretty simple really and you WILL love the light output and color. I also got the 6k system and think its perfect. 140.00 PS - I also just got the LED center tail light and love it and it took about 45 minutes to put in and was damn simple. 115.99 http://www.oznium.com/tc-tbl |
