so im looking at 18x8 +35 for the front and 18x9 +40 for the rear. what tire size should i get.
Also Im on stechs so will i rub? if so how bad?

 

the tc will fit 8.5 maybe 9s if you roll the inner fender

 

225/40-18 for the front tires.

 

2_much_tc has J2's in 19x8.5 front and 19.9.5 rear and he doesn't rub, his tire sizes are 215/35/19 front and 225/35/19 rear, droven the car a few times and feels fine going over speed bumps without even rubbing as well and he didn't roll his fenders and still has the fender liners.

 

How low is he as well? And on what kind of suspension? When you're going for an agressive setup like that, all those things suddenly matter

 

he's probably at stock height. and his offsets are probably 40ish and 45ish thus making it not that aggressive

 

so what tire size would i need so i dont have to roll fenders

 

he is on s-techs...wheels are Jaz 410

 

WRONG! s-tech's my friend. and the offsets are not that high either. 35-front and I believe 38-rear... As you can see from my pic here...

depends on your widths

 

You can run a 225/40/18 in the front with stechs. I ran a 235/40/18 with my 18x9 +35 but I rolled my fenders with Stechs. You can probably get away with a 235/40 on your setup because it's a higher offset then mine.
