i kno ill probaly get yelled at but i cant find an exact answer in another post. i stupidly used velcro adhesive to stick a air spencer air freshner on my dash right over the air vent. well it melted and i cant seem to get the stuff off. it looks horrible .anyone kno what i can use to get it off without effecting the dash??

If that doesn't work then *SPARINGLY* use nail polish remover, but test how it reacts to the dash plastic first in some hidden area.

x3 for sure. i was working on my project car... the hardtop convertible weatherstrip turned into a tar like substance. a little elbow grease and a small bottle of goo gone did the trick.
also, the orange windex takes sticky things off. i dunno about the dash, but this took off the dealer sticker on the windshield after a year of being melted on there.

be careful w/ nail polish remover, as it's practically acentone which can eat away plastic... not right away but if you let it set there for a bit, you'll see!

thanks everyone. yea id be scared to use nail polisher remover im not the most careful person. ill use goo gone.

if that fails, try a chisel and mallet. i have had good luck with that. seriously, try using some dry ice to peel it off. or a can of r134a without oil.....
