nope, the maf sensor is a bit smaller for -7-08.

if you are deadset on getting it go to home depot and get an oring that fits over the maf oring, it will seal up the hole....but you have to make new screwholes.

btw, that's not forced induction

tc started 05

but yes you can, go to home depot and grab an oring to fit around the maf sensor, it should sit properly int he hole after that.

aen your right its not that much hassle to get those parts but i said hassle cause i would want the correct part. Escpecially being the MAF is a vital part into your cars runnign condition. I mean im not saying it wont work i just saying go with the right part in this case.

make sure the filter doesnt have any oil. if it does your check engine light will go off everytime. but a good way to reset it so it goes away is to just disconnect the battery and then reconnect it

Hmm...I like that o-ring idea. I want the ARC induction box, but it was only made for the 05 & 06. I'm curious about trying this out now...

aen..just swapping an o-ring won't make an 05-06 intake work on an 07-08 tC because the mounting holes for the MAF are in completely different locations. In this pics you can see the RED circles are the mounting holes for 07-08 tC's and the BLUE circles are where the mounting holes are for 05-06 tC's.
