I hate people, today I come out of work and I have a cheese baked potato all down the side of my xB. It was hot as h3ll today too, so I wouldnt be surprised if it baked into my paint. My box had been sitting for around 4 hours, so I have no idea how long the potato was there. On top of that after I saw it, a dude I work with, said, "Oh yeah someone threw baked potato on your car."

I hate people, this isn't the first time and it prolly wont be the last. I just dont get why people keep doing this to me.

If it did bake into the paint, is there anything I can do with insurance or something, to get it fixed?

 

I got in my wheel as well, I gotta clean the box now, (9:15 pm here) this just sux

It also got on the roof, my hood and wheel well

 

file a vandalism report.. then the ins. would look at it, but if your already cleaning it, odds are its on you...

Sorry about that happening. People are basically all AZZ holes anymore. No resect for anything. Hopefully it all should come off without any traces.

Ok cool, thanks guys. I washed it off, but because it's dark I cant really tell if I got it all or how it looks. Tomorrow I will detail her and check for anything.

I will try to clay bar her tues or thurs when I have a day off.

 

I'd say give some bug and tar remover a shot if there's anything leftover. Odds are, you'll be okay.

clay bar should take care of any residual residue but the clay will also remove the wax from the finish. clay bar is a good excuse to wax your box

 

if you keep the car waxed up a few hot potatos should be no problem. maybe its ur avatar i kinda want to throw somthin at that. jk
