Default power loss cornering

it feels like i lose power going around a street corner,im usualy in second [5 speed].i have tried to disengage the traction deal. but that only stays off for a few seconds.and i can't feel any difference..................also whats a good replacement cat to replace the resonator. i understand that there is a cat in it.

yeah its the traction control i believe above 30 the traction control kicks back in. what you need to do is push and hold the traction control button down for like 10 seconds with the car on and not movin and 2 lights on the dash will pop up and the traction control will be completely off.

with traction off you love doing burn outs. 2 days ago i was entering a freeway and burn so much smoke going 50mph on a 90 degree turn my car nearly vanish coming out of the turn going 75mph leaving my friends tc, rsx type-s, 07 si sedan way behind. too bad no one got it on video that'll be great, a ff doing a semi-drift.

you need to turn of stability control (VSC) cause the VSC cuts power if it feels that youre going to spin mid corner. to turn it off come to a complete stop and press and hold the button for about 15 seconds or so and there will be two lights that turn on (TC and VSC).

there is no part that is equivalent to the cat yet. you can guess-timate if you go to a exhaust place and they can find you a part that comes close

i was wondering the same thing.

what happens to me is when i bury my foot in 2nd the car feels like power is "surging" so its not constant power.

Now im gonna go try the hold the button thing and see if that continues to happen.

thanks guys

power is surging... it hits VVT-i at around 3500 and you get a boost in power as it changes cam profiles.

Anyone think that it could be the delay in the drive-by wire? Mine does this as well but I always thought it was either DBW or the TC/VSC.
