Turn signal stalk issue
Yesterday I discovered that when I have the right blinker on, and when I turn the wheel straight, the turn signal stalk returns to the center off position, but when the blink is mid-blink, it will actually also quickly flash the left indicator. Vice versa does not happen...
So if I have the right indicator on, and the blinker is in mid-blink, when I switch it off by either pushing it back with my hand (gently) or it switches to the off position by turning the steering wheel back to straight, sometimes the left indicator will come on for a very short flash.
Do any other owners have this symptom?
It annoys the absolute crap out of me, because I think it looks like I am an incompetent driver!!
Would this be covered under warrantee, considering it is a 'broken' part???
All feedback is appreciated!!!

Sounds to me like the switch has just loosened up alot and actually goes slightly where it's suppossed to. If it still under warranty go for it. If not just get a new switch or find one used.
I've seen this happen from time to time as well. I see the opposite direction arrow on the dash display flash as the indicator cancels. Don't actually know if the indicators on the outside flash or not!
Can't say it bothers me really - I think I already confuse most drivers because I use my indicators a lot!
Never hurts to bring it up to the dealership: I just had my HU replaced under warranty, for an intermittent display issue, because I asked them if this was a known issue.

Seems like a quality issue to me. Is your car a late 06 build? Mine was built in July 2006. I wonder if it is contained to a small 'series' of cars.
But maybe I'm just seeing things!!
Thanks for your input!
