Or, almost a year. Was reading another BB and came across this comment made on September 1, 2007.
"Even with the power/mpg issue, for the same money, the Honda Fit is still the better deal. This probably explains why it’s still hard to find a Fit while there are lots of xD’s on Scion lots." :rofl:

Well, here in NY I do not have one Scion xD on my lot and I haven't for a couple of weeks now! Hands down the xD is better, it makes the fit look like a roller skate on wheels.

And keep price in mind. The xD simply can't be beat when you consider ALL of the factors:
Price
Standard features
MPG (Don't compare 5spd Fit Vs. Auto xD)
Comfort!
Looks (debatable, definitely a like it or not situation)
Of course this is strictly talking about if you are looking for a really good MPG car. If you are looking for a good MPG Sports car (oxymoron) then that is a different story :).

I knew what you meant, oldfogey. That is definitely the case around here. You can't find an xD anywhere, but there are loads of Fits available.
