Beginning Detailer
Hey Everyone,
I'd like to learn how to keep my car cleaner a bit more...Mainly like how to use an electric buffer, and various other knick-knacks that come with the territory!
So are there any good kits? Is one buffer better than the other?
Yada Yada...
Help!

thats the one that i have, but im sure any random orbital buffer will do. just make sure that it is definately random orbital, that way, it stops itself from spinning, and has a random orbit, so it doesnt burn your clear coat if you leave it in one spot. also, a variable speed setting helps aswell.

you have an 07, is your paint that bad to where it needs a power buffer? You can go buy a Zymol wax and a $2 applicator pad from walmart and get some bad a$$ shine to your ride. the pics you took with that HOT girl on your car seem pretty clean to me?
you would be suprised at how good your paint will look, ive only had my tc for a couple months, its an 08, i have already hit it with som 3m swirl mark remover, followed by a polish, then a wax, (bird poop stained the paint, so i decided to do the whole car while i was at it.) and i think it made the paint look alot better than when i pulled it off the lot.

Just buy any buffer that you can use 5-6 inch terry/microfiber cloths on. Wash it first with Meguiars Shampoo and Conditioner Car Wash 2 times, then buy the Meguiars Clay Bar Kit and make sure you spray the detailer 1st then claybar the whole damn thing, then after that buy the Meguiars TechWax 2 and apply wax to whole vehicle, let sit for a couple minutes to haze over, then Buff it out. Im going to do my car tomorrow or monday and if you want I can post you a couple pictures of how it comes out with that setup. Trust me on one thing though. Claybar is very important. It makes the car smooth as babys bottom if you know what I mean. Dont believe me wash and wax one section then slide your hand across it. Then wash, claybar and wax another section and do the same. HUGE difference. Good Luck.
