Default Upgraded ZPI Stage 0 Owners

Just wondering if anyone else had problems clocking their turbo when installing an intercooler upgrade on their Stage 0. I got a Dezod piping kit and it requires clocking the turbo outlet downwards instead of upwards (the TurboToyotas kit requires reclocking as well). When I tried clocking it tonight, the outlet kept hitting on some parts below the engine. How is the turbo and piping supposed to fit?

Anyone?

I'd like to get my intercooler installed today instead of having to revert back to the Stage 0 setup.

Ya there is no need to reclock the turbo that is why you use the J-pipe.

The Dezod kid and TT kit don't come with J-pipes though. Plus, I don't like the look of that sticking up like that. And yea, it is the Evo 3 16G turbo.

with the TT kit, i had to take my stock fans off and put some slim ones in the front. that gave me enough room.

i clocked the turbo using this

i had to do multiple mock ups and then it was ready to get installed so it might take you more than a day.

good luck

If you don't want the J pipe, then clock the turbo, put slim line fans on the radiator, and run a 45 or 90 degree coupler off of the turbo and to the intercooler pipe.

Where did you get your slim fans? Are they tC specific or is it just a generic aftermarket kit?

A fan is pretty much a fan when it's a slim line. Mishimoto has slim line fans if you want to check them out. Mishimoto.com. And then you have like Flex-a-Lite fans as well as others. They are all universal, and have different sizes to meet your needs. My fan pushes more CFM's than my 16G did...
