Tell me about it. Here is a video of my NEW hid 3000k fogs at full brightness, then without the fogs and just the silver stars on low then high. Man, I think I maybe placing a second order soon, but I want 4300k for lows and 3000k for high beams.

umnitza said he can get 4300 for low and 3000 for high on a h4 bulb. He is the one I got the fogs from https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...4212&start=260
I just ordered a pair of the new Philips NightGuide H4 bulbs. Supposely puts out great light with three color zones, blueish on the right to see signs better, white straight ahead for normal vision, and yellow on the left to give good light but not blind oncoming drivers. The info i found on them were all positive. I had silverstars before but the short life of them is a turnoff. If you want something better than silverstars, might wanna give the Philips x-treme power 200% bulbs, the youtube video of them looked awesome.I'll post again with the results of the NightGuides.
The silver stars are great. I never replaced mines and drive at least 15 miles at 40mph with high beams daily. Now I have hid and 3000k for highs, 4300k for lows on order, will see how that works. I had full hid for the xa, 4300k for high and low, 3000k for fogs.

The yellow and blue zones are slightly noticeable if you look at your headlights closely or when you are up close on a white wall.
Other than that, I can't really say I notice the "3 zones" when driving at night.
I had Silverstars and Philips X-treme Powers on my other car that uses an H4 like the xA.
The Silverstars are "whiter" but the Philips are definitely brighter.
