Caravan to the VIP at Evergreen baby!!!
Well since it seems we got a bunch of people going to Formula D and are gonna be in the Scion VIP, i think we should do a meetup before hand. I am open to suggestions. But i was thinking meet at Tulalip Casino where we do the Marysville M&G? Pic lot and most everybody knows where that is. But I have never been to Evergreen so if there is a better place to meet, Please share it.

in my opion marysville is going to be out of the way for some. Like for me is't easier for me to take hwy 2 out to monroe then go all the way up 5, but for the north end people that could be a good spot.
anyone want to do a east side meet in bellevue or redmond?

How many North end (Bothell / Lynnwood North) are even going? Might be easier to just let the Southern people go 405-522-Monroe, just be careful...522 is one of the most dangerous highways in WA (knocks on wood).
Therre is a Park and Ride In snohomish, right off highway 2, about an 1/2 mile down bickford ave (Taking the Bickford exit.). OR on the same road, (Bickford) there is a new fredMeyer right across from Bickford ford, thats closer. it's Just a short straight shot back to Hiway 2 and on to Monroe. One of those might be a good final meeting point, before hitting the fairgrounds.
ya i agree everyone can meet there.
ya i think there should be a north end and south end meet as well.
there are 2 park and rides on 405 that we can choose from.. Either the one by bellevue toyota or there is one right off the 160th st. exit in woodinville right before hwy 522 (the hwy we would take out to monroe)

well thats fien if we do one meet up point along the route. I really am not sure hwo to get there. So i just figured marysville was a nice big place for everyone. But thats also why i stated to offer your opinions. So if we get enough people who want to meet up we can figure a central point or do 2 locations.
I'd be up for meeting at one of the P&R off 405, let me know which one and what time, maybe post up at google map. Maybe we could get a group from down south to meet maybe at the Toutle River rest stop, figure a time that would get us to the P&R at the right time.

Same here^^^
I think it may be best to do 2 seperate meeting points after i think about it. I know its a longer trip for you southern people so you will prolly meet earlier. So i think we will stick to the Marysville M&G point for the north caravan to Formula D. You southern guys looks like yal got a few points marked out. So the list above will be updated for the Northern crew. We will get a time set once we get info from scion vip. I will email them to see if they have a schedule.

So, Shawn, which P&R do you think is better for ease of access to the hwy? I searched and found the one on 160th. That is just over a 2 hour drive from my place. I hate these early monring sprints to Seattle, lol.
that's a good ? robbie..
the 160th one is a good one 'cause its right near the fwy we want to take to monroe - bad part is that it's on the oppsoite of the freeway in the direction we want to go so all the cars would have to cross back over the freeway to get back on the freeway & then the exit to hwy 522 is right there so easy to loose cars if they don't make the light.
the best park and ride i think of is the one off the 70th street exit in Bellevue/Kirkland.. This way people can get off the freeway right there & the park & ride is right in front of you as you exit freeway & it's a easy trip back onto 405
So i'm making a executive decision. The meet up for the south enders is the park and ride at the 70th street exit.
[color=blue]Directions: 405 north and take exit number 17 (70th Place). Once you take that off ramp turn right onto 116th (at the light) & the park & ride will be to your immediate left.
What time do we want to meet???

Sounds good to me Shawn. Checked google maps and it says that the track it about 25 mins. from P&R, so, how early do you want to get there? Meet at P&R at 10:30 or 11:00, would put us there before noon, depending on traffic. I've never been up to the track and don't know what kind of crowd this event will attract. Meeting at these times means I'm leaving here around 8:30 or 9:00. So, in conclusion, I'm leaving the meet up time to someone who knows a little about what to expect at the gate, lol.
