I am putting a turbo on this weekend and I need some opinions please. I don't know if I should stick to a 2.5" exhaust or go to a 3" exhaust. I am going to an exhaust shop to have completely new pipe ran. The s pipe the turbo comes with is only 2.5" so I guess I am wondering if the 3" is worth it and would there big a big hp or torque gain over the 2.5". Thanks any help or input would be great.

 

p-tuning did a dyno with their 3" exhaust on a turbo and it was a good gain. Just depends on your turbo set up???

how many lbs of boost you running?

 

its tuned around 8.7

 

I would go with the 3" since the urge to turn up the boost in a couple months will be there

 

ok cool sounds good I'll try to post a sound clip this weekend. I'm going to go straight pipe into a skunk2 muffler so I hope it sounds alright

 

may want to add a resonator to calm it down a little

 

Yea I'll see how it sounds....Hell it can't be any louder than the srt4 that lives beside me

 

X2 with out it, its going to be sooo loud
