Default 215/45-17 stock tire replacment???

Well my Bridgestone tires on my 2006 TC are about toast at 37k miles...

Keeping my stock 17in rims and looking for a good tire around $100 each that I will get some decent mileage out of and not loose MPG or add noise.

I was looking at reviews on discount's site but they are not all that helpful.

Who has aome recommendations from experience?

I got Continental Conti Extreme Contacts a/s on my tC about 3500 miles ago. I think they are great. I have had no problems in the wet(actually more grip than before in the wet) but I haven't driven in moderate/heavy snow yet, although very light snow was good as well.

The tires look cool as well, but the traction is just so much better than with the OEM tires. I would reccommend them to anyone.

I hope that helps

Falken Ziex ZE 912. Depending on driving habits and tire care you should get between 30,000 to 36,000 miles.

I'll second the Contis. I had these tires as my all seasons the past 2 winters. They do pretty well in the snow. Better than the OEM ____ tires I had anyway.

depends on your driving habits+ your car..

i had falken 542's and 512's... hotchkis lowered with tokico shocks and neither tire could not make it til 15k miles.......

452 was garbage after 12k!!!!!

i had alignment twice on the 512's.. thats why i didnt go with the 912's last week.. but the kumho ecsta spt's...

I too am looking for new tires and was considering the Nitto Neo Gen as mentioned on other post. Also found this:
BFGoodrich - g-Force™ Super Sport A/S
$128.99
Tire Size: 215/45ZR17/XL 91W
Item #: 245579
Manufacturer's Warranty: Standard

at Costco.com. They have great coverage for their tires.
