Default Straight Downpipe on Turbo Folks...

So im running a basically straight dp dump, well i fabd a piece to dump it just behind the motor. I didnt feel like adding a bung for the second (narrowband) 02 sensor so i just left it out, from others running straight dp, does this cause any kind of a problem other than a cel? My car has been deciding to idle rich lately after i get on it hard a few times, but i think this is due to the oil leaking into the compressor housing due to bad oil seal. Thatll be fixed this weekend and ill be cleaning everything up thats now been covered in oil :/ Im really just thinking once the oil pressure get shigh enough to leak past the seals it contaminates the maf sensor and causes it to run rich, but i was just wanting to make sure it wasnt somehow that secondary 02. Although it def wouldnt make since as i ran the car for over a week when i first boosted it without that secondary 02 sensor plugged in as i forgot to plug it back in

Not sure if I am reading this right, but your problem may be related to not having the secondary O2 sensor. If I remember correctly, there is a cat between the first and second sensors on the stock setup. The secondary one compares its data to the first to help with emissions but it may adjust fuel trims as well.

You should run the 2nd O2 with an anti fouler. But i'm not sure if this is your problem.

yea i was thinking about welding a bung on for it this weekend. But yea i ran the car when i frist boosted it without the sensor for over a week and it never did this so im really thinking its oil getting on the maf O well as long as i dont beat it up it doesnt do it (oil pressure doesnt get high enough to cause it to leak much) so it should make it till i fix her up fri night

Also remember it takes about a week for the stock ECU to learn when things have been changed.
