I installed it myself, took 3 hours.
installing these seats require a lot of patience and requires a bit of strength to pull them over the seats and headrest, they fit real tight.
and if you have long finger nails forget about it...

dqlostsoulz 09-20-2008, 09:48 PM They fit like a glove, they are my favorite interior mod. I think they cost a little to much, but it's all up to you! Everyone who has them and people who see them think they are really nice.
As for the blue stiching you might want to order them from here.........

vulgar_wraith 09-28-2008, 03:34 AM I ordered mine over a week ago.
phiquach 10-09-2008, 05:21 AM man are there better instructions. the rear is so loose. their instructions are like not that complete IMO.
dqlostsoulz 10-09-2008, 05:38 AM Just tighten the shizzle out that string!! The rears are not going to be as snug as the fronts, but i read you have to have people sit back there in order for it to fit a lil more snug. Or just throw some books back there and let them chill there for a bit.
phiquach 10-09-2008, 08:05 AM i didn't want to tighten too tight because then it would start bending the foam which makes it worst lol. how about your guys front? it is suppose to pop out right? where you sit(your back) part?
BZinn1 10-09-2008, 02:59 PM I am leaning towards getting a set of these from Longo..........the more I look at them the more I like them......

etsnet 10-11-2008, 09:25 AM so much suede, honestly, a little too much.
Nah! It's better then the stock crap you get and no more then the 90% of the rest of the real show car tc's. Only difference is 50% of those 90% have racing seats which is dumb if you don't race or have some power IMO. Done the power thing and over it.
Luc1f3r 10-13-2008, 01:50 AM no Paul, it really is tooo much! much like i have far too much red, you went over board on the suede! lol at least yours is a softer color then the red i have to look at.... im changing mine soon though.... going to one love?

I'm actually thinking about changing the seats out to all black leather cuz I noticed that the suede on the seats and the suede on the headliner and pillars don't match. We'll see though.
Yes I'll be at one love with at least 2 other Jensen Beach members. Not sure what hotel cuz the Key west one is filled. I guess I should get on it though.lol
Luc1f3r 10-13-2008, 06:48 PM That would look soooo much better if you didn't have the incredibly out of place painted parts on the door.
how are the out of place? the rest of the typical painted pieces are painted red also.

Exactly. The majority of the painted pieces look out of place. The vents, the doors, etc. The only thing that looks good is the waterfall, and it should be limited to the outer trim because the buttons look out of place when the center is painted.

cant wait to get mine in next month :)
Brett_ 10-27-2008, 04:02 AM do you guys think it would look really cheap and crappy if i only got covers for the front two seats and not for the back?
AGTC85 10-27-2008, 04:14 AM it might look a little tacky, but if you're going to gut your car and dont need a back seat then go for it. i know in my car i want everything to look right. the back seat might look out of place if you dont buy the cover. i'm going to order me some these pretty soon.
GQQSE13 10-27-2008, 04:54 AM do you guys think it would look really cheap and crappy if i only got covers for the front two seats and not for the back?
ya probably. i'd just go all out. because for the listed price you get the front and backs, all 5 headrests and the armrest
dqlostsoulz 10-27-2008, 05:14 AM Plus i don't think they part out the seat covers........they just sell them in the full set.

He does not charge more for special orders. You just have to wait when he anounces that he will take speacial orders and you have to wait a few months to get them.

JoeSchizo 12-05-2008, 09:28 PM es niiiice.
(thx dqlostsoulz)
Avedis 12-07-2008, 03:57 PM I'm going to order the black leather/suede with red stitching for Christmas. I told one of my friends about these covers, and he said that the suede might get ruined if it gets wet (ie: after it downpours and I sit in my car).
So if anyone that has the leather/suede covers, can you please tell me how your covers have held up after rain?
JoeSchizo 12-07-2008, 07:28 PM i have has suede lose color and rub off on other things after getting wet. not these seats, i don't have them. and i could have had poopy suede...but when it got wet, its color rubbed onto other things, faded and wasn't as nice.
...if that helps. but then again, they could be awesome.
someone agree/disagree/put-me-in-my-place?
ExpresScion 12-07-2008, 08:25 PM Are you sitting in puddles before you get in your car? How can your a$$ be that wet?! I don't think it will ruin the seats, but it could turn your jeans black.
JoeSchizo 12-07-2008, 08:51 PM no no. it wasn't car seats. :) no butt puddles haha

dqlostsoulz 12-30-2008, 04:54 PM Does anyone have a little space between the covers and actual seats on the front seat where your back rests at?
What do you mean??
Avedis 12-30-2008, 05:02 PM Does anyone have a little space between the covers and actual seats on the front seat where your back rests at?
What do you mean??
I think he means that there's a "pocket of air." That's probably the best way to describe it. In other words, the covers do not rest fully against the backing of the seat (where you sit). If this is what he means, then yes, I have a little space between the cover and seat. I just installed mine, so maybe my covers haven't fully "set" yet.
SCIONshane 12-30-2008, 06:11 PM I think he means that there's a "pocket of air." That's probably the best way to describe it. In other words, the covers do not rest fully against the backing of the seat (where you sit). If this is what he means, then yes, I have a little space between the cover and seat. I just installed mine, so maybe my covers haven't fully "set" yet.
Yuppers, exactly what I'm asking. Mine have a little air pocket there and I just finished mine up today. I've still got a couple places to work out on the bottom part as well. The drivers side isn't perfectly straight yet, but all looks well.

SCIONshane 12-30-2008, 06:17 PM Oh, one question for you clazzio veterans...
Are any of you guys using any sort of leather care products on these? Those of you who don't (or do, I guess) are you noticing any fading?
dqlostsoulz 12-30-2008, 06:19 PM ^ That looks sexy  Yeh my driver side bottom part is not straight either, but I still love them.
JoeSchizo 12-30-2008, 06:26 PM looks great!
Mos_Def 12-30-2008, 06:31 PM same here bottom drivers side is not straight also. i think its because of the hole where the seat adjuster goes pull it towards the door.
dqlostsoulz 12-30-2008, 06:35 PM I am currently not using any sort of product on my seat covers. I just wipe them down with a damp cloth. They still look amazing just my driver side has more of a butt print then the rest of my seats since I dont really carry to many people in my car besides my girlfriend. I have had them for around five months.
dqlostsoulz 12-30-2008, 06:36 PM same here bottom drivers side is not straight also. i think its because of the hole where the seat adjuster goes pull it towards the door.
Yup, that is my thoughts exactly!

Cool, thanks.

dqlostsoulz 12-31-2008, 12:04 AM ^ Can not wait to see the pix!
SCIONshane 12-31-2008, 02:26 AM It's so crazy! Lol. It completely changes the look and feel when you get inside the car! It seems like I'm in someone else's ride!
dqlostsoulz 12-31-2008, 02:36 AM Doesn't it though....I love them they are my best mod thus far!
xxnyangel10xx 12-31-2008, 04:11 AM well my pix arent so great for now... i was in a rush (had to go to work) lol ill have to take better ones tomorrow and when my car is cleaned out :-X

i have to agree with you... at first ive always hated the stock seats i dont think they are comfterable at all esp. after my accident... but idk the seat covers are comfterable as hell gives i guess a lil bit more cushion lolol and i love the suede :)
dqlostsoulz 12-31-2008, 06:08 PM The seat covers complete the interior.....by the way the seat covers look amazing, beautiful, nice
SCIONshane 01-02-2009, 01:38 AM There's a kid from my church that I take to school in the mornings and he doesn't know about the new interior I got. I'm interested in what he's gonna say when he sees it on Tuesday haha.
JoeSchizo 01-02-2009, 02:50 AM those with the red inserts, that much red isnt too much for you guys? i cant decide from just red stitch or red stitch and red inserts....
SCIONshane 01-02-2009, 01:53 PM those with the red inserts, that much red isnt too much for you guys? i cant decide from just red stitch or red stitch and red inserts....
I personally wouldn't want the red inserts. If my car was red, then maybe it would be a different story. Now that I have red stitching, I'm debating on whether or not to get a new shift boot with red stitching (currently silver-ish)
JoeSchizo 01-02-2009, 07:07 PM see...i'm going to do flint mica painted pieces with red accents...red LED's for the consoles and everything and probably red leather center and rear door paneling pieces...and i'm thinking of the red inserts for the seats or just stitching...i like red...and black...and pretty much thats whats going to happen with everything more or less...red and black....
in a clean manner though, i'm not too into flashy over the top stuff...or ricing it out at all.
i just dont want to have red overkill.... It's still all up in the air though, I have yet to do anything. planning stages, woo!
SCIONshane 01-03-2009, 02:18 PM It all depends on personal style really....
I have people all the time telling me how much they hate my car and the way it looks, but...I don't really care lol. To each his own...
Mos_Def 01-03-2009, 05:10 PM the red inserts are not bad if you have enough red accents in your car to support it. i have red calipers, and the red inserts. planning to do red powdercoated valve cover and red gauges. thats enough red without looking too tacky. ill admit that they do look good in black with the red stitching. maybe i should have gone that route instead, but the red center looks real nice too. i have gotten a lot of compliments from them.
SCIONshane 01-03-2009, 06:29 PM Yeah I have red calipers as well. And my wheels are black with a red lip. I'll probably paint my interior pieces black at some point.
scixon 01-10-2009, 12:40 AM about how much would the installation cost ?
scixon 01-10-2009, 12:40 AM about how much would the installation cost for these?

Wow that is SWEET! I dpn't think I'd let anyone sit on those. I don't even think I'd let MYSELF sit on those!
has anyone had any fading with the suede?
i wanna get these but idk if should go with all leather or with the suede in the center. i dont want it to fade with all the sunlight and what not.
CarbonXe 01-23-2009, 03:59 PM I haven't had any fading.
interesting.
i should be picking these up soon then.
dqlostsoulz 01-23-2009, 06:35 PM I have not had any fading either. They still look amazing.
CRUZtc8 01-23-2009, 07:21 PM ^x2
potseng 01-25-2009, 03:19 PM Wow, I want to get one, too. Maybe we should have a group buy on this one
GQQSE13 01-26-2009, 09:06 PM anyone have the black/black suede w/ blue stitching? wanna see what it look slike before i order next week
Need4Bass05 01-27-2009, 02:52 AM ^Just order them Chris, ask questions once you get them
StreetStarsTc 01-27-2009, 02:55 AM i've only sat in them a few times
but i never realy checked out how they felt
do these seat covers help to hold you in better or make it feel more loose (no pun intended)
BZinn1 01-27-2009, 03:01 AM The ones I have sat in felt like they were part of the seat, they are a a very tight fit.
StreetStarsTc 01-27-2009, 03:11 AM i know they fit well
i'm not questioning fitment
how do they feel when you sit? do they hold you in well? better than the stock seat covers?
i konw clazzio has better padding thats why
dqlostsoulz 01-27-2009, 04:13 AM They hold you in place very well, you wont be sliding around if that's what you want to know.
StreetStarsTc 01-27-2009, 04:15 AM yes exactly
i'll be getting a harness bar with takata green's
and just wanted to know in advance if i should just get the rear covers and get sparco's up front
i guess i'll have to try it out on my friends tc
BZinn1 01-27-2009, 04:17 AM Yeah they do seem to reduce movement with them in......
dqlostsoulz 01-27-2009, 04:25 AM Plus I dont think he sells just the rears by themelves. He sells them only as a set.
StreetStarsTc 01-27-2009, 04:28 AM no. i talked to him. its possible to get rears.
dqlostsoulz 01-27-2009, 04:40 AM Oh, that's news to me cause before he would only sell them in sets.
CarbonXe 01-27-2009, 12:37 PM i've only sat in them a few times

They feel like thicker stock seats.
SW_08 01-27-2009, 12:49 PM they feel nice....better than stock....
i just might have to get a pair.....
dqlostsoulz 01-27-2009, 05:20 PM ^Do it and post some pix :P
cavalierkid888 01-27-2009, 06:35 PM anybody have the ivory suede? Debating on getting a set in this color but I have a funny feeling it will get dirty/stained really quick.
dqlostsoulz 01-27-2009, 06:38 PM ^ that was my exact thoughts. That's why i did not get them.
CarbonXe 01-27-2009, 06:39 PM ^ that was my exact thoughts. That's why i did not get them.
x2, I wanted white also, but opted against it.
dqlostsoulz 01-27-2009, 06:42 PM Wise decision my friend...cause we would probably be complaining right now.
cavalierkid888 01-27-2009, 06:51 PM hmmm what about the ivory leather. I would think it would be a little easier to keep clean as opposed to the suede. (as you can tell I really want the ivory)
In my old 91 stealth it had white leather seats and they weren't that dirty for being 16 years old.
dqlostsoulz 01-27-2009, 06:57 PM With leather if you wear like dark jeans it tends to rub its color on to the leather. For example when you wear white tennis and jeans, you can see the color bleed on to the fresh pair of white sneakers.....I hate when that happens!
cavalierkid888 01-27-2009, 07:19 PM ^^^me too, well damn, now I don't know what to do. What'd you guys that wanted the ivory wind up going with?
dqlostsoulz 01-27-2009, 08:28 PM I went bold with the red and black with red stiching....looks amazing with white. And I think it has been one of my favorite mods thus far.
cavalierkid888 01-27-2009, 10:00 PM Ya it does look really good, but I have absolutely nothing red on my car. :/ I have more of a black/white/carbon fiber theme going on as far as exterior and interior, and blue lighting.
dqlostsoulz 01-27-2009, 10:20 PM How about black w/ ivory stiching?
cavalierkid888 01-27-2009, 10:46 PM Does the stitching really "pop" though?
SW_08 01-28-2009, 01:12 AM ^ i was thinking the same thing...
tcbabe 01-29-2009, 03:55 AM so the ups guy delivered my seat covers today around 2....beween trying to get read for work at 3, i managed to get the headrests on. (fronts were a b!tch) but they look absolutely amazing so far. hopefully i'll be able to put the actual seat covers on tomorrow after I get off work, and post some pix afterwards.
dqlostsoulz 01-29-2009, 04:47 AM ^Looking foward to seeing the finale! What color and style did you go with?
GQQSE13 01-29-2009, 01:44 PM how long does the install usually take?
dqlostsoulz 01-29-2009, 06:25 PM I would say around 2 hours.

dqlostsoulz 01-31-2009, 12:41 AM I see you have Meguiar's Leather Spray in your cup holder, did you use that on the pleather and if so how do you like it??
tcbabe 01-31-2009, 07:46 PM well actually, it was the quick interior detailer...after i put the covers on all the dust /my hair seemed to be attracted to them, so i cleaned the inside really well...works great. I'd never go back to armorall ever again when cleaning the inside...this stuff leaves no residue whatsoever, and it actually doesn't smell bad either. i'd recommend it for sure.

I think you can special order it with ivory stiching. I would pm xravexboix he would know.
Just bought mine from http://www.car-leather.com for $475. Kit comes with everything front seats, back seats, headrests, armrests. Amazing quality took only an hour to install by myself. I've worked with Katzkin as well, these seats are amazing compared to them.

dqlostsoulz 02-04-2009, 06:51 AM ewww weeee....that is a great site and you can even get it made the way you like. How much is it shipped? Clazzio FTMFW!! Great find snipper
I think it was set to a one time fee of $30 anywhere in the US no matter how many you order. I was ok paying it though since you can customize the kit the way you want it.
*EDIT*
Looks like it's free shipping now.

Sparks_Scion_TRD_Parts 02-05-2009, 03:50 PM They are up on the 05 tC now.

I was wondering why they were so cheap. It's the all PVC edition vs Perforated Leather and Suede.
trdsparks 02-05-2009, 04:43 PM Yeah the PVC is pretty low in price, but the Suede and Leather is a pretty good deal too! I have them on my xB 2008 and it looks 100 times better.
Sparks_Scion_TRD_Parts 02-05-2009, 04:49 PM The prices are different for the different materials and the shipping is about $10.00
Leather Covers are $399.00
Suede Covers are $299.00
All PVC Covers are $224.95
Ken
SCIONshane 02-05-2009, 05:03 PM I likes the blue stitching! Would've gotten that if I didn't have the red lipped wheels.

Still a little cheaper then the place I bought mine (http://www.car-leather.com). Still like the ordering system for Legendary Leather more then anyone elses out there though. Should have waited until they offered free shipping like they do now.
As for the blue suede... I agree they should offer colors for suede as well!
ecko04 02-06-2009, 12:38 AM Which colors does TRD Sparks have in stock and readily available to ship out?
Sparks_Scion_TRD_Parts 02-06-2009, 02:04 PM All of our Seat Covers are being drop shipped directly from the USA Clazzio warehouse to our customers and they usually ship next day. Special orders still take about 8 weeks.

dqlostsoulz 02-08-2009, 02:12 AM Like GQQSE13 said, it is well worth it.....you will not be disappointed. You see how good these things look through all the pics. How can you not buy them they are irresistable  !
cweckel2000 02-08-2009, 02:14 AM Well I installed them today and they are awesome! Quick question..where did you hook the flaps on the back bottom of the front seats? I can't figure out where to hook those two loops on.
I'll try to wash the car and post some pics tomorrow.
dqlostsoulz 02-08-2009, 02:21 AM I hooked mine up on a metal bar in the very front of the seat. You use those S like metal hooks, you hook one side to the loops on the seat covers and the other end to the bar.
