Default Attempt at pics of my ride

Ok, I'm not sure of the outcome here.... I'll delete if necessary. But here is a pic of my new (used) RS1.0 . It's not exactly clean, as I did encounter some rain since yesterday, but still looks good to me. (it does shine more when freshly detailed, of course)

[/img]

If you notice on the lower picture, the rear bumper applique has begun to fade. Anyone have any solutions for this? At first I thought it was wax, and would come off with a tooth brush and some elbow grease.... not the case. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Pics came out great, and congrats on the RS=1. That is the rarest of all xB colors, only 2100 made. I can't tell by the pictures that the rear bumper applique is fading. If you mean on the rear most part, it looks like to me something has been drug across it, and taken some of the black away. I keep mine garaged, so, so far, fading there has not been noticed. You have the unique, of the unique BOX. Enjoy your ride, and making it uniquely yours.

Thanks koalaty2, and I just found out yesterday that, to make it even more rare, it has a manual tranny. Of the 2100, only 504 or 508 were manuals, the other 1492 or so were automatic. Talk about feeling part of the "elite".

We wanted the hot lava, but didn't want to have to wait. Still plenty to do with the PW. Again, Congrats!

Have much love for any and all Lavas. Your is especially hot with those Enkie wheels. Now throw some H Techs on there and finish it off with a mild drop.

The vehicle came off the CARMAX lot just like you see it. Even had the carbon fiber B & C pillar covers, not to mention a BORLA system that begins with a serviceable air filter back to the muffler. Love the sound! Whoever hooked it up, did a nice job on it. Now it's my turn.

After looking around the site, looks like there's a lot to choose from. I had no idea there were so many aftermarket accessories for these things. But to answer your question.... yes. First thing is gonna have to be a set of ventshades around the windows. After having them on my Exploder, I realize how valuable they really are. (especially to a smoker like me) Keeps the rain out when you want to crack the window to vent the smoke. I try not to smoke in it, but a 110 mile commute daily is kinda hard to go without. I'm gonna add a little bass to the factory system. (been had for over $5,000 in electronics in the past) So I figure if I just hide a sub and amp, maybe they'll leave it alone. I would like to add some interior "bling" (LED's, etc.), but I see no orange in the stores around here. Guess I'll have to do some research on that. Plus, my 2 boys need some back seat entertainment. I'm thinking of doing it in a way that they can hook up the XBOX360 for those extra long trips. As far as lowering, I'm not too sure that my situation will allow it. These NC potholes are brutal, not to mention that I have to approach the driveway at an angle just to keep it from scrubbing now. But changes are coming, as $ allows. And thanks for the compliments, everyone. All you guys have some sweet rides as well. Hope to meet some of ya sometime. I'll post more as I go.

I was thinking about those rims when I was looking to buy. They look nice on an RS1, but you need a drop!
