I, like most people, am short on funds. I need tires but can't afford new. I found a set of used tires at a decent price. Does anyone know if I will have any problems with these tires?
One pair is 225/45/17 and the other pair is 205/40/17. Both are matching brands just different sizes.
Thanks in advance!

I don't think I'd recommend ever running 2 different sizes like that. Especially when they're not even really that close.

^ yeah. I'd keep the same sidewall all around the car (45 is stock) and at least 215 in width (215 is stock width)
The 225/45/17 is fine but I wouldn't recommend the 205/40/17.
Keep looking.

If you are still shopping check out our site. We guarantee the lowest delivered price. And like the others said. Stick with the same size and brand on all 4 corners.

That's a difference of over 5 inches in circumference. We don't put that much stagger on our oval cars. Danger, Will Robinson!
