Default Need Help

I have the dezod S1 turbo kit for my 06 tc and I was installing the kit and got everything hooked up and bolted up. My problem is when I go to start my car it will take a few cranks to start then it idles really ruff and shuts off ....If I play with the gas pedal it will try to stay running but then it shuts off...and also when I try to rev it to keep it running it will sometimes drop to about 500 rpm then shoot way up to 2500 rpm then eventually shut off again....any help would be great because my car is in pieces right now

Could be many things. I'd check to see you have the MAF sensor hooked in correctly first. Check for vacuum leaks. Did you reconnect the O2 sensor(s)? If you were messing with the fuel rail, did you reconnect the sensor plug on the left?

Disconnect the battery and go hunting for those things. There will be people on in a bit better versed in turbo setups. I'm kinda new at this myself

Good luck!

Definitely check your vacuum lines and MAF.

or try starting with the maf sensor disconnected, it will run super rich but you will know if its vac/boost leak or tune related

any pics? Are the rings sitting on the injector correctly? Maybe the injectors weren't pushed in correctly and messed up the rings?

Did you use the lube that came with the injectors and seat them properly back into the rail and head?

Well I bought the kit used so I didn't have the lube so I rubbed the o rings with a little gas. I like I just had a bad o ring, but everything is fine now as far as the car running. but I will take a picture of the injectors and fuel rail tomorrow so you can take a look to see if it's right

Ok I took some pictures of the fuel rail and I will have them posted later tonight, but I was also wondering if anyone had problems getting the fuel injectors to clip back into the clips. my injectors seem to be getting caught on the orange rubber gasket that is in the clip....any ideas how to fix this

you just have to wiggle it gently in there.. mine took forever but a good seal on those is a must!

That's definitely jacked Joe. You saw mine tonight, none of them have a gap like that, actually they don't have any gap at all. We just need to pull your rail and lay in on top of the engine and re-install the injectors, making sure they all seat before we put the rail back on, which they should because I got you those 4 new O-Rings yesterday...

The o-ring is probably not seated into the fuel rail. there is a little crevice in the rail inside the bung, where the injector sits to make a seal with the upper O-ring.
