well people are wanting smaller more fuel efficient cars, it makes sense that the resale value has gone up

I had an engineer at my old job offer me 10 grand for my car as is. Have to say I was rather shocked at trade in value the dealer gave me of 8 grand. I se why so many part out cars for sale now as they said no0ne of that changes the value and I was better to sell those on ebay.

when i get my enlistment bonus after i come back from basic, ima buy me an egg or a toaster to use as a daily driver, so i can leave my tC sitting pretty in my driveway... i'd rather get 30+MPG over 27MPG anyday! as long as its in a scion its all good lol...

Ok taking bids on my xA who wants it Ill sell it for 16k full mods =)

The xA just had bad timing in my eyes. All the hype when scion came out was around the xB and how it looked. At the time people were still buying large SUV and trucks so the xA took a back seat. Now that gas prices are stupid high I have people all the time at a gas station ask me "Wow is that one of those new 08 how many MPG do you get?"

If the xA were released now they would have sold out everywhere.

It is amazing how inexpensive fuel efficient cars do not stick around. Look at the old bug, vw diesel dasher, mercedes 240d, geo metro, suzuki swift, toyota echo just to name a few.

Lets not forget toy offered an electric suv the rav 4 back in the late 90s.

Not sure how the xa lost the contest, I thought if anything the tc as it is just another car where as the xs are unique.

lol funny Dev I have that convo also when I park my xA at my dealerships.

A lot of times in the middle they say who makes Zion?

I have so many people who come on the lot now and don't care about price tags or vehicles they just say WOW the Corolla gets that much? or when are the Yaris and Prius coming in

>.<

Egg? I thought the xa looks more like a smaller matrix. Park beside one of those cars and it looks exactly alike.

Yeah, I get same conversations too. I fill up when its half empty and people look and say, it only took you 6 gallons to fill up? Yeah, its a hybrid, the car runs on gas and anime.

Top 10 Resale Value Vehicles: 2004 Model Year = 8 Japanese cars, 1 German car, 1 British/German car

Bottom 10 Resale Value Vehicles: 2004 Model Year = 10 American cars

Kind of makes you wonder why anyone would ever even consider an American vehicle.
