Default Fog light relay vs Toyota relay..

Is there any diff. between the fog light relay on Scion vs the Toyota relays. I know the colors are different.
I can't believe they want $50 for the Scion relay and that's with my emp. discount.

The regular toyota (denso)relay is the same it plugs in directly to our harness. I got mine off a lexus at the junk yard. I know a relay is a relay. I wanted a drop in one.

ok so i picked up a generic 30amp relay n wired it for my aftermarket fogs.

Here is the wiring order:

Harness color_______________ Relay Pins
Red w/white stripe _______________ #87
Green w/orange stripe ____________#86
Green w/red stripe________________#85
Double Green w/red stripe_________#30

ill snap a picture tomorrow of the harness i made to adapt an aftermarket relay so you get a better idea

completely diff than the generic 30 amp relay....

those .99 cent relays also have an 87a (most of the time)

the toyota one i know has a different base and pin design.

still, i don't know what relay my box uses for the fog lights....

yeah, i had to figure out the wires too.
i was putting in the air horns, and it stuck....(that was loud and annoying...)
i thought i was pulling too much current an welded the contacts...
turned out it was a bad relay....
