no its not supposed to be on. this has happened to me too.

1. check the remote wire (blue wire from your deck to your amp). make sure that no bare wire is showing by wrapping it with electric tape. reason is because it could be touching another wire that has a constant voltage going through it.

Which wire am I suppose to tap into...Its the blue one right?
