As plenty of you know, we make PnP harness for the FIC and EMS for the 05-08 tC. As a result, we have been trying to do so for the 08 xB, and we are having some trouble doing so. We have contacted the manufacturer of the connector, and apparently there is an exclusive deal between them and Toyota for these connectors. So, now we are tying to explore avenues of getting them unlocked through Toyota, TRD, the connector manufacturer etc....This thread will be updated as info becomes available.

Ok party people! Here is the deal. We are ordering enough connectors to build 25 patch harnesses to build FIC and EMS harnesses for the community. We have some estimated pricing of full plug-n-play harnesses. The FIC PnP will be as follows:

08+xB FIC PNP around $425

The connectors because each as weather-sealed and such make the harness expensive and time consuming to build. These will be built in house here.

The lead time before we get the connectors and such is approx 16 weeks!

it never got that far when i pulled the pan off to do the turbo i found some damage before turbo even went on the turbo was on for about 100 miles for a shaked down my oil pump got clogged by factory sealant kinda sucked so the motor is being built it was the plan all along i have another car to drive lol so im in no hurry look for amazing things in the spring

so pritty much if this doesnt go through....everyone is gonna have to run a standalone unless they wanna do a trd reflash which is a ____ty tune for even 7psi... :( pleaseee japanese engineer help uss

why would you have to run a standalone? you can run the fic just need to hard wire it its not that hard the hard part is adding all the length to the wires to get it into the car and out of the bay its like let me count 2 wires for each injectore your crank sensor its not that bad its tops 20 wires takes about 1-3 hours depending on soldering skills and stuff

Fyi, Boomslang will not be making any harness for our Xbs. At least thats what they told me.

they wont why? they told me to show them the connectors we keep trying we dont know what to do about the latch so we wont be reproducing the latches just the plugs you will have to rap a zip tie or something around it just not cost effective the first set came out i will be picking them up to test if they work after that the production will start as for the fic harness and stuff taniox i will send you the connectors and the mettal plugs all you will have to do is splice in the fic harnes you have and do all the wiring but it wont be to your factory harness instead to a extention i am really wondering why no one wants to buy the connectors from me i am calling boomslang tomorrow to see if they want them other wise i will be making them myself just have to source the fic harness i dont know what i will be asking for price im still working on it might be a little higher then the tc one just from all i have been having to do its a sad day when car owners do more then the aftermarket its very very sad i will have pics of the connectors tomorrow and by the way they are lime green lol oh yeah

Thats awsome that you are taking such an initiative. As for boomslang I emailed them a while back and then again for updates and their response was that they were not going to do it, no real reason why but whatever. Some one needs to hurry up and hack this ecu, with the popularity of the tc I'm surprised there isn't a reflash software out yet. Well keep me updated, I'll send you my info when you are ready, no rush as I still do not know the lead time on my kit.

the connectors came out a litte wrong we had to make some corrections some of out mold didnt take he thinks we mixed a bad plastic when we did it we will have the second revision today or tomorrow black this time the green was out of hand lol

It actually is not that hard just a bit tidious. Those are pretty much all the wires you have to intercept/tap into(for the FIC). Aem recomends that you test each concection as you go and clamp your maf while your still na. Hey Cory are going FIC or EMS? You know you can have two tunes on the fic. I might use that feature for water meth setup. Also do not forget your 2k ohm 1/2 watt resistors between CAM1 MAGI+ and CAM1 MAGI- also CRK MAGI+ and CRK MAGI-.

You need 2 resistors, this is found on aem forums as some folks where having issues with sputtering and fuel cutout, aparantly there is high noise on the cam and crk so the resistors was the fix. This was mainly on the TC but as a precaution I am going to wire them in.

Most wires are on the B33 conector can be found on pg 11 on the link posted.

As said before, the ECU side connector is what stopped us from making a full PnP harness. We have the other 2 connectors. No sense in making a half PnP harness.

I would love to street tune then dyno tune but nowadays the consequences can out way the benefits. Is your ride up and runing again. Also do you recall how you hooked up your signal ground, I was going to hook up to the maf ground instead of the one I posted. Either ground will work but aem recommends the maf ground.

Yes! I am SUPER close to getting these all set for sale. Problem is with ALL of the red tape we have cut through, and the cost of these connectors, it will be an expensive harness. We do not anticipate to have the connectors for 3-6 months or so.

More than likely, just a log. I don't see many people going bonkers with the platform. Our tC tubular (when it's released) may fit the xB2

Hey Dezod, I wanted to thank you for the base map you provide on your site.

I went turbo about a week ago and I'm running the emanage ultimate.

I figured I would try the 07-08 TC base map you have on your site and was very happy. AFR's seem pretty good throughout boost and I can even partial throttle boost pretty well!

Just wanted to let you know that the map you provide also works for the 08XB, I did change the injectors parameters to 550cc as thats what i am running.

I'm still going to get tuned actually tomorrow, but thank you for providing a good base map that was fun to drive around on in the mean time!
