Default Exhaust help..

So I just bought a New/Used 2006 Scion tC and I have a slight problem with the TRD exhaust...it's not that huge of a deal but it just looks horrible I heard you can buy a pipe spreader or something like that and fix this.
Are there any ideas if I cant find a pipe spreader on how to fix this easily without taking the exhaust off maybe? or spending to much money I don't want to just stick a metal rod inside and pry it up because that will scratch
the inside of the exhaust all up and gouge it I don't want it to look horrible.

Thanks in advance.

i don't think that is TRD exhaust dude, it should have a nice thick rolled edge finish.

just take it to anyplace that does exhaust work and have them weld a new tip on. or just hack off that exhaust tip and put on a new exhaust tip that attacheds with a bolt and make a hole with a power drill or something.

or just buy some other exhaust kit. the trd is just sound, it doesn't actually add any performance, assuming that is a trd exhaust since it is so $h!tty looking.

Yeah it is a trd exhaust or atleast the guy I bought the car from said it was. I haven't crawled under the car yet to really take a look but he said its a full cat-back and it's not just a tip so I would have to hack it off...The sound is awsome I love the sound of it but it just looks so ugly...Lol

The TRD exhaust is only an axle-back.

that is what trd exhaust looks like, crawl under and see if that is what it looks like, but that tip does not look at all like it came from TRD. at best it might be some knock off crap that came off ebay.

i've had my trd exhaust since november 2004, and it is nowhere near that condition, and we get some harsh winters with lots of road salt in md, there is no way a trd exhaust would get that bad that fast. i think that guy swindled you.

It's really not that bad. what ever it is. It doesn't look like TRD I've done some research on a lot of TRD product. It was listed as having TRD lowing spring, sway bars, and a AEM ram air intake, then a nice breaker setup for the system I got in it.

I would go have a little talk with the person that you purchased it from because that is NO TRD exhaust.

Just a few pics. I still have work to do on it...cleaning it up and getting a turbo and a few other upgrades. Maybe switch out some LED's on the HUD and the dome lights.

you got ripped dude, that is NOT am AEM intake. that is just a friggan pipe with a filter on the end.

go take a peak at your lowering springs, if they aren't white or red, they aren't TRD springs either. i think you got jipped on those performance parts dude.

on the plus side, that is a hotchkis strut tower brace, so thats is a real performance part, too bad they actually don't do anything on the tC cept look good.

Yeah I guess I'm gunna have to really go look at it all here in a few days. I never really got a chance. When I test drove it he was just saying stuff it had but I didn't really need to check at the time. Everything performs well I've just been having to clean in lately It was all messed up on the interior.

wow. That looks like some ghetto home made poop. Gimmie 20 bucks and me and home depot will make a better intake. What exactly are those wires to the black boxes supposed to be? Weird Grounding kit? Relays? Not really fallowing it. Fuses? What is that?
