lost screw

Default lost screw

while installing my new headunit, i dropped a screw somewhere down where the headunit is and it went all the way down. anyone know a way i can recover the screw?

If you can pinpoint it's location, a magnet should be able to do the trick! Good luck!

I droped one the four screws each time i take the headunit out. Usually it's on the heater control thing, but a couple of times i just removed the plastic part between the carpet and ashtray and pulled the carpet back and found it there.

i dropped one down there once, looked for an hour for it, pulled everything out, carpet and all...
4 months later, i found it rolling around on the passenger floormat...
go figure

Yep, time to go magnet on a stick hunting and search anyplace it could settle to down low. I dropped the fuel needle once doing a face change. It took small mirror to find that sucker before it fell into the abyss.
