Exactly...

The tune is important, because you can possibly squeeze almost 400hp with the stock rods alone provided the conditions are perfect.

The should not require any notching.

The tune makes a BIG difference in what they can handle. I would say over 400whp is fine, but as you approach 500 or so things get pretty hairy. We had a customer car make some pretty extreme numbers on these rods.

Yes tuning is everything and it boils down to that....Plain and simple.

We have had a few customers make high 400s and low 500s on these rods with no issues. So take that as a feather in your cap.

I do not recommend taking the task on unless your versed in engine building. Simple as that. Something as simple as tolerances and a few 1000ths of an inch can cause your wallet 1000s of dollars.

i'm going to school for this, i'll have the nessary tools and i'll also have mechanics helping me day in and day out, i was just curious as to what YOU say i have to hone, machine or balance

matt, the dezod store is not open yet, as far as i know they WILL have a store but right now not yet.

if you come to az you can chill at my pad.

edit: perhaps i came off as a little egotistical i didn't mean that. i meant it along the way of...yes, i'm aware that a small mistake can turn into something big but it's a chance i'm going to take and this won't be until i can finish up school or at least get to the engine building portion of school.

besides, we all start somewhere
