Why are you looking for an upgrade? Unless you are putting more power through the stock clutch than it can handle all you will gain by putting in an "upgrade" clutch" is greater pedal effort and more rapid wear of the release mechinism.

SPEC's stage 1-3, from experience, have no more pedal effort than stock.

hmmm.. just checked out the web page. you can get a stage 2 for less than a trd and a stage 3 for only like 10 bucks more. i wonder which is better. i've heard with the trd clutch on a near stock xb you can chirp third gear. so a stage 3 clutch would be able to too right? my stock clutch has decided to slip if my car is cold and i accelerate somewhat quickly in the 3000-5000 rpm rang in 4th and 5th gear. but it's only happened once . so i dunno what to make of it.

my clutch slips when its cold too. but once the car warms up it doesn't do it. i would like to upgrade too, but not until the stock one is almost gone.

I have had the TRD one and the Spec stage 2 and the spec is a lot better...it feels like stock and grabs hard as a mother. the TRD one is tougher for everyday use than the stock clutch. Not harder or anything, but's noticeable when people drive my car and they say my clutch is stiff or its harder to find where it grabs.

i believe perrin was making one i need to check.

It was Agency Power. Vivid racing was the one getting them to make it, it was brought up during a Perrin product release thread.
