The Colgen Custom 2 piece bra that I ordered directly from Colgen, just came in. Man is it sweet !! It costs $113. It was a little hard to put on, but once you get it warmed up enough it fit perfect. No flapping at high speeds. I was doing 75 with no notice of movement. I wish I had pic's of it, and I'll try to get some if anyone is interested. I can recommend it to anyone, specially if you live in a dump like PA, where all the roads are covered with rocks !!

Dave. I got one too. I understand that there are a couple of versions of the Colgan bra out there.
One with hood piece deflectors on a hood piece that covered the front 3rd of the hood and another T-hood section where the T straps under the crease where the hood meets the windshield.
The T-hood section looks better to most people. Mine came with the triangular deflectors on the hood piece.
Which did you end up with?
I've never had a strap-on car bra mess up the paint. If it did mess up the paint, I imagine it couldn't be worse than driving with no front bra.

You guys are right.......it's spelled Colgan. As for the paint, I 've had 3 Colgan bras on 3 different cars with no problem. Plus I leave them on all the time......rain, to sun, snow, etc. You just got to remember never put a dirty bra on a dirty car, or on a clean car. Once you take it off, wash the car and clean the bra and you'll never have a problem. One of my cars I sold after 6 years with the bra on it, and not one stone chip up front. The manual from Colgen says the worst that happens is paint clouding due to moisture. The cure.... let it sit in the sun a few hours.

For the xB, they make a cool carbon fiber look 2 piece. Mine is just black with the triangular wind deflectors and fog light cut outs. Well worth the money if you live in a place where stones are a problem, like PA.

The Colgan Bra is the best. I have one on my car since the day after I bought the car. If you look at my profile, it shows my car with the bra on it. I have the Carbon fiber look one. Doesn't show in the pictures very well though. They are great products and a great company to order from. I also have the mirror protectors and driving the freeway daily, it sure helps the car stay new looking. Not a chip on the front or the mirrors. Just the hood where a rock went over the top of the bra. Oh well, can't protect the entire car.

I've had the full bra with the T-hood on my XB since it came out. I've never had a problem with it. Too bad I can't use it now with my new lip kit. It just dosen't fit well at all on the bottom because of the kit. It's the best full bra out there for the XB. I still use the T-hood on my Xb though :D. Pics are in my sig
