Radar Detector face scuffed up.

Radar Detector face scuffed up.
Just wondering. My radar detector face, the black one where it recieves the radar wafes. got a little scuffed up from putting it into the cubby and taking it out whenever i left my car. You think i can use plastiX on it or prolly not?
