It looks good, but I'm still not a big fan of CF hoods on cars. To me, it looks like you wrecked your car and had to get a replacement hood from a salvage yard that you haven't had a chance to paint yet. To each his own I guess. For what it's worth, it does match your black grill well. :)

I will say this...of all the ones I've seen, I like yours the best. It's a nice contrast to the red.

looks really nice, but would be better without the stickers. God I hate stickers

Yeah, unless they're paying you for those stickers, I would lose 'em.

I like the looks of the hood/grill combo. I would like it more on Black rims!

6lbs??!!
That brings up a point I was wondering about. The whole idea behind a CF hood
is reduced weight...right? Like for racing or just better milage/performance. Okay,
I understand the idea there. But if that's the case, then why do alot of the cars I see
with CF hoods, also have 150lbs of subs, boxes, and amps in them? It doesn't quite
make sense to me. I mean, if you want a true race/performance car, wouldn't you
want to remove all extra weight? I would think that you'd want to remove the entire stereo,
as well as the back and passanger seats. I dunno, I guess I'm just too old and don't get it.

It's like the fast and furious thing, when I was a teen and we did Street races we took out the back seat of cars to reduce weight, ect. they are more for the look, than the function

whether there be extra stereo or what have you any weight reduction is a good one

well 6lbs is quite light, and as a strict performance peice my hood will work very well, but now a days its not just about function its also a lot about appearance

so even if someone added 100lbs of subs but lost 17lbs on the hood you only really added 83lbs, and with a set of lighter wheels and some other light parts and some go fast goodies, you have yourself a well rounded peice of machinery...

Yeah, I can understand the "looks" thing. I mean, a LOT of the performance parts people out on their cars are more for looks than anything else. I still think it's kinda funny to see people with CF hoods and half a stereo store in the car. :?
