Default Need Help with headliner

This maybe a stupid question but how is the headliner held up. I need to drop the front because I bought the Gangsta visor and want to add some screws to it. Thanks for any help

Several things hold it in place.

Remove the A,B and C pillars.
Gaskets from around the doors and hatch
Pull the visors
Pull the oh crap handles
There are a total of 5 press in fastners, these all need to com out (panel tool works fine)
Pull the map light
Pull the dome light

remove out of the rear of the car

screw away

and since you've taken the time to take it out...dynamat/fatmat/edead/noisekill the roof!

I forgot to mention it is an 08 xb with the airbags in the pillars. Any special precautions to take with this
Thanks

disconnect the neg pattery cable, when removing the A pillar take care not to damage the airbag (the actual airbag is rolled up neatly behind it, look at the right and left sides on the photo, its the white tube looking thing, you'll see when you pull the a pillar, the actuator for it is by the b pillar) You see wiring that is wrapped in yellow, this is for the airbag. Putting a screw into it would be a bad thing.

work slowly and you'll be fine
