Default Rear spoilers/wings

I am debating a rear spoiler/wing.

How many different kinds are there? Pictures and links welcomed!

There's probably 4 or so available at the moment. Me personally, the only one I like is the spoiler off the Rumion. All the others are either way to big or don't flow right with the xb2.

I'm too lazy to find links or pics for you, but you can try the search button. There's quite a few floating around here.

I use the Seibon OEM style but in Carbon fiber on mine. I like the looks of the OEM wing the best. But it all in personal opinion really. Find what you like and use it.

Thanks guys.

I am leaning toward something smaller....but still unsure and would like to see them all.

What terms/brand names should I search for?

Default wings/spoilers

Okay so I know that on most CARS the wings that are OEM equip for cars actually do create a bit of downforce. Does anyone know if the spoiler for the 2nd gen box actually does?

Call me a geek, but I also use a bike rack occasionally and find that the spoiler is a bit long for the rack to fit over with my existing rack mount.

I bought one of these from eBay and couldn't be happier. It's a factory spoiler and they will paint it exactly to the paint code you send them and they ship it for free, all for $125.00. I have the Stingray Metallic xB2 and the spoiler looked perfect as far as color match and they painted it and got it to me in less than a week.

Nothing. A spoiler on any front wheel drive car is stupid. The only reason i got mine was because it made the back end of these things. I didnt like the look without it

But any spoiler on a front wheel drive car is stupid. Cuz if it actually works and the it creates downforce on the back end your actually taking away from the tires getting grip in the front....and its stupid looking on these riced out hondas with big spoilers

the xb2 in japan is the corolla rumion and over there the car looks very different. i chose to go with the rumion wing because its smaller and isnt as "boy racer" as the scion one. the tC guys know what i am talking about with their lip spoiler vs pedastal spoiler. in japan they dont have the hypno teal, blackberry, naughty blue, or stingray so you have to buy any color and repaint it yourself. but since you have white you shouldnt have a problem getting one in white (thats the color they shipped me). you do have to pay slightly more but if this is the style you like go for it..

there are some more in the thread i made when i got it installed
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie....php?p=3150356

on the subject of the ebay spoilers.. its cool that you can get a OEM style spoiler for so much cheaper but they just dont install the same and i am afraid for thier quality.. keep that in mind when you buy the ebay knock-offs

Yep, it came with all the hardware and instructions. All I did was go to my local Toyota dealer and ask to borrow the 08/09 xB spoiler template, went outside and marked the 4 holes with a sharpie, gave them back the template, went home and had it installed in under half an hour.

No, this particular one did not come with a template. The guys in the shop at my local Toyota just let me use the template to mark the holes though, no big deal.
