Seriously though..

what is the ave HP gain for a s/c?
average gain is 40 HP, but you will feel much more Torque to the wheels, the kind that pushes your head back

How much is an instal for a TRD s/c at a dealer?
I paid 950 to get it installed, i live in chicago area, out West, have heard of 650, but them dealers have done more installs than out here, call around and check to make sure that they have done them before, you really don't want to be the guinea pig, the dealer i went to have done 5 including mine

toyota will take care of any problems if it is under warranty, correct?
To a point, as long as it is stock and you dont' change anything, but from what i heard it can be a hassle. Thank god i personally know the region manager of Scion

a TRD s/c doesnt void warranty when it remains stock, correct?
Doesn't void at all, if you keep it stock,

Does a s/c require engine management such as turbos do?
When done by the dealer they upload a new tune to the stock ECU for fuel management, no need for a piggyback

I have had my S/C for about a month now, i love how it feels, and how much of a difference it makes when you hit the gas. I also did my research, the S/C was sitting in my living room for a month before i went to get it installed, I read many threads on it, knowing wha t the limitations on it was. Also talked to Jeremy of Garage1217, he gave me lots of good info on the supercharger itself.

you can put all them gauges in there if you want.. not necessary though if you ask me, it would just add some bling to the car.. the only thing i might do is the TRD boost gauge, other than that, i don't want a whole pillar of gauges

nope.. no warrenty.. has to be new in sealed box for warrenty, so that means, if and when you order it (TRDSparks.com **Shameless Plug) do not open it. Unfornatly mine was open because i got it from Scion Corp from a raffle. But I was still good.

You should change the title of this post, because your in fact not in the supercharged world, your just dabbling around outside it curious about whats on the inside.

I called a dealer today, and they said if i install a used s/c that it wont void my warranty on my car, the actual s/c wont have any warranty. you think this is a bad route to take?

do it..

Just before you install the used S/C, get it rebuild with new bearings and seals.
