i just need some point of direction on how to remove my fog lights. i got my dealer installed ones and the tech section shows how to pop that plastic peice out. can i just "pop" out my fog lights? they seem to be in there pretty good..

Yup... Just like most of the parts on your Scion, they just pop off.

Try using a flat head screw driver with a soft cloth on the end and make sure you 'pop' them from the inside(middle of bumper) out.

I think he means between the bumper and the light on the edge closest to
the middle of the car.

To take them off? You don't need to. I guess you could reach down from the engine bay to pop them off, but you don't even need to pop the hood to remove them. Just pry them off from the outside. By 'inside' I mean pry from the side of the lens that's closer to the license plate.

Once they're off you just disconnect the bulb or remove the wire harness. I put Silverstars in mine to match the headlights. Much brighter now!

That's a _____.
He did say wrap the screw driver with cloth.
Hopefully its an easily repaired scratch.

I wouldn't remove them to change the bulbs. It's kinda a PITA to get the harness with bulb attached back thru. it's quite simple to change the bulbs with them installed. Just reach up under the bumper on the driver's side and go down thru the engine bay on the passenger side.
