Um... all those pics, (very nice shots of the front and back of the projector, by the way) but no shots of them on!?! I'm glad you're posting but we need more! So I see you did projectors and angel eyes? I could go either way on the angel eyes (what do you plan on using them for anyway? Like daytime running lights?) but I'm really hot for some HID retrofits like that.

What kind of projections are they.

The halos look like there suppose to be superwhite, the camera makes them look blue.

You can get the projections off ebay and do the retro youself. Just be sure to get a new set of headlights or dont mess up.

 

Yeah... if you really know what you're doing you could do it yourself. I've never done it before and I definitely wouldn't trust myself. I'd need someone who knew what was up to do it. I just can't believe that some tuner company doesn't sell projector headlight housings for the tC (or at least in the future sell them). I'd love to buy some and have real HID.

 

Well if you send your headlights somewhere its going to cost at the least $1200.
Its not cheap but it sure is a good mod to have. The difference is amazing!!!!

 

Where did you get that 1200 number? How much is a new set of headlights for the tC to start with? How much is a set of projectors to retro? How much are you expecting to pay for labor? I wouldn't want anything but the projector - no angel eyes in there for me.

 

wow... looks really good. i'd buy that if the price was right. the retrofit and the hid kit should cost in excess of 1k though....

haha. i know about the whole scam thing. but TCTunerz has those ligts and the side mirrors to match. MAD EXPENSIVE...actually the ones in this post are hotter.

If a trustworthy name had HID that wasn't projectors, but was BUILT FROM SCRATCH for the application, I'd get it. My dad has an 04 Prius with HID that doesn't have projectors. Still works good and the light quality is quite nice. I bet it would be a lot cheaper too, but I don't trust any of the tuner crap around unless someone shows me the cutoff before I buy.
