Fitment on the passenger side was perfect. The driver side however needed to be modified. The back side of the JDM glass on the driver side mirror doesn't match up with the US Spec mirror for some reason so some tabs had to be clipped off in order to be able to adjust the mirror at it's full range.

I picked up the JDM badges, door sills, rear mirror cover, blue glass mirrors, and the blinker side mirrors from Steve at Carson Toyota/Scion. I ordered the mirrors prepainted in black to match my xB's color. They come unpainted, or you can order them prepainted.

The install is pretty straightforward, but the instructions were in Japanese.
Basically, it involved:

1. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery

2. Remove side mirror glass (Mask off the bottom portion of the mirror housing and then pry the bottom part of the mirror off. It snaps in in two spots on the bottom. There is also some white adhesive goo on the back that you will have to deal with)

3. Remove Door Panel (have your windows rolled down as well)

4. Disconnect the plug for the mirror motors

5. Pull the black triangular cover off of the inner side of the mirror

6. Remove the 3 nuts holding the mirror on and remove the mirror from the car.

7. Remove the 3 torx screws on the bottom of the mirror and remove the 1 philips head screw holding the rubber piece that seals the mirror.

8. Drill a hole in the factory mirror housing just above the mirror motor. The instructions called for a 8mm hole. I think I did mine only at 7/32 though. I started with a small pilot hole and made it just large enough to get the wiring through.

9. Attach the LED portion to the inner side of the mirrors.

10. Feed the wiring from the LED unit through the drilled hole and run it along the same route as the factory wiring for the mirror motor.

11. Attach the blinker mirror cover to the factory mirror housing. (Make sure the factory mirror housing is clean before attaching the JDM cover)

12. Reattach the mirror glass, 1 philips head screw holding the rubber piece that seals the mirror, and the 3 torx screws. Then reattach the mirror to the car.

13. Slide the rubber protective tubing over the wires and attach the supplied connector to these same wires.

14. Pop the side marker out of the fender. Connect the supplied T-connector wire harnass to the wiring for the side marker.

15. Feed the long end of the T-connector wire harnass through the back side of the fender and UNDERNEATH the weather strip of the front door. Use the supplied foam tape to secure the wire at the point BENEATH the weather strip.

16. Connect the end of the T-connector wire harnass to the connector attached to the LED blinker mirror cover.

17. Clean up the extra wiring length using supplied zip ties and secure them down neatly.

18. Put the door panel back on and reconnect the battery and you're done.

19. Install procedure is the same for both sides.

Guys -

What's the tire/wheel and spring combo on those xB's in the pictures, especially that white one?

The white one looks slammed, and the dark one not as much.
